I'm honestly so sad she never made Wildfire a single and always paid it dust. She never talked about it, and I think only performed it live once. Sad because it was one of her best tracks off of Confident.

Wildfire is top 5 Demi songs. I've always said it. It's so mesmerizing and experimental for her.

Can't believe she's thinking of moving on from music at such a young age. That's definitely because of the lack of support she's been getting in the past years.  

 

Hopefully she's not serious about it, which sure it's probably a thought like she mentions. But she also mentions that music is her main income so I don't think she'll give it up so easily. Hopefully with her new manager she'll get more support that'll change those thoughts of leaving music behind. She's literally one of the best singers of this generation. She's gotten recognition from everyone in the industry, we're not ready for her to go.

if music is her main income then she's definitely going on tour again lmao outside of CFTS and Heart Attack her streams aren't that great, she barely does festivals or private concerts so where the hell is she going to get profit from? The loss from her past eras is catching up to her that's why she's jumping on these cheap sponsors and probably returning to pop music so she can tour and have some streaming revenue to pay for this damn wedding too lol

 

For someone who claims to be smart with money she really fumbled these past 4 years. Using the post OD goodwill she could've easily pivoted and tried other ventures but she did alien watching shows and vibrator campaigns instead

So it doesn't sound like she's even remotely close to releasing a single or album. If she's still playing with different sounds and hoping she finishes the album by the end of this year, I can't see anything coming. Maybe droplets and collabs until then? Maybe she's planning for a beginning of 2025 release? I'm happy she's taking her time, but damn I was really hoping we we're getting something this year

She always makes it seem like she's farther from finishing her project than she is. But she also is a perfectionist and does not rush releasing albums until they're fully ready. I think we'll get the era starting early 2025, and for now they are doing good press with side collabs + the documentary and maybe the promo single for it.

I think focusing on droplets until the end of the year/next year is a good move for her, she's right now not as near as popular as she was before, and she needs to gain the pop audience back - so droplets, maybe with some known artists this time, can do wonder for her before the next era

Besides the fact it flopped commercially, Demi was probably disappointed the rock album wasnt Grammy nominated, even though it was critically praised.

Well... it's what she deserves then. I don't know who she thinks she is but maybe she should be more self-aware. Like girl, you've only earned ONE grammy nom for your music in over 15 years of career (the second one is a collab). If you want the Grammys to consider you worth it, you better work. Same goes for success. If she thought rock music was going to skyrocket the charts with no promo after destroying her image the previous year, she was out of her mind.

The fact that she takes Oak with her wherever she goes as if he were her fourth dog (Bella, Batman, Pickle and Oak). Can't believe she took him to record a latin song too . 

 

Her obsession with him needs to END. At this point, it's limiting her (both in terms of creativity and connections). There are tons of other good producers out there. Why does she refuse to work with them? I understand she feels more comfortable with Oak than with anyone else but... I guess he is cheap because they are good friends otherwise I don't get it.  

 

Good thing he's talented enough and even if her next album is fully produced by him, it may sound like nothing they've done before but it's time to move on.
