We have three separate years of promo singles We are desensitized to the Dr. Dre influenced delays. She hasn't been going into the studio recently and it seems as though her team is indicating that things are done but the question is will they release it this month before Taylor...will they wait until 4Q. Whether we like it or not she said she was going to put it out before her tour (she's mentioned finalizing negotiations in September). When she was on Angie martinez, Angie was trying to get her to commit to a 2022 but she made a face (the type of face Cardi makes when she knows it's not going to happen but she thinks its a pokerface lol). If she does not release it this Friday (which is highly unlikely without a lead) it won't make sense for her to release this year...Beyonce is apparently releasing Act II in December. So i'm sure it'll be released Q1 or early Q2 2023. I think the thing is: with a hit urban feature on her hands, will she release another urban feature, an urban new single? will she release a more rhythmic song for the colder weather? will she release a mainstream crossover song (I think she should wait until early 2023 spring for the crossover record)? So the rollout seems to be here...it's just a matter of what direction are they heading in next. Since Hot ish is urban...I wonder if they'll go rhythmic next.
