Megan's album confirmed to be coming out NEXT month, that means Cardi to release in September or October. Every single from this point out needs to HIT, but Hot Sh*t may hang on due to the radio play (which is what Cardi needs)

When is the Grammys cutoff?

while i do like Hot S*** it isn't a song that i liked enough to add it to my music library. i do like listening while watching the video.

i really don't understand why an album did not come out in summer 2021. that was the right time.

imagine releasing two back to back #1 hits and not releasing an album :rip:

I'm pleasantly surprised at the solid views of the video. It's cute but I feel like it's missing a couple of elements but hey I'm not mad at it.

But yes, you have
WAP cultural reset

Up clever hip hop smash

and then Hot Ish...Cardi ate her verse. Durk did his thing. I don't know why people are shading him. Kanye's verse is giving awhole lot of run on. Like that run on speech he at in 2015 accepting his Vanguard. The Henny part is good, though.

For me, it's like the album track that is played if you want to listen to Cardi nonstop. It's not in the playlist that you have for everyone including Cardi.

My playlist for IOP tracks include all except Bartier Cardi, Best Life, Moneybag. I only listen to those tracks when I want to listen to a bunch of Cardi songs back to back but the other tracks are on my other playlists so the randomizer will pick Bickenhead or something more often. I enjoy it but I don't seek it...if it pulls up then I'll listen...so i get that part.

That said, I think I get her target demo and certain people seem to enjoy this song that sounds like tracks from 2018/2019/2020

A bop nonetheless.

I have a feeling the next single is going to target a certain set of audiences which is why she's already worked on the rollout.

It’s sitting at 8.1M views 11 days upon release :deadbanana2: this release joins Press as her career stain singles

I'm not sure your point...have you not noticed as streams grow on Spotify, Pandora Apple etc. Youtube numbers have decline. For its current state to trend top 5 still even though the song isn't exactly the tea is good.

Who's dupe is getting too comfortable:lakitu:

Stream the video for good fortune, luv.

I have a feeling it's going to be worth it because I think the songs she was working on in 2019-2020 was very dated if Hot ish is any indication.

I am sure some will make the cut but I bet alot of the songs done in 2021/2022 will make up most of the album.

It’s so annoying that we waited so long for Hot Sh*t when it’s one of her worst singles :chick3:

Not sure how/why you’re correlating growing streaming numbers to lowering YouTube views but ok… They should both be going up if the song is getting more “successful” :rip:

Let’s not go the B*rbz delulu route, luv. This was a mistake and she shall learn.

Let’s get that jaw dropping collab she’s been promising :jonny6:

Overall, I'm talking about Youtube views going down in general and it's as other streaming platforms are growing stronger. So bringing up Press makes no sense.

I was commenting that at least she has solid numbers on Youtube because the numbers on the other platforms are not it. I'm not pretending a song is a smash when it is not...just pointing out the positive since it's not declining significantly on all platforms as a bomb would.

I feel like she will have many...it seemed like she was filming many music videos throughout the year so I wonder if it's already queued up next.
