HandsomeGumDrop Posted May 4, 2022 Share Posted May 4, 2022 Met Gala was shady they wanted a fight to happen and I 100% believe the story Cardi B table was in front of Nicki table and Cardi walked pass Nicki and Cardi gave her a dead look and Nicki was in shock that Cardi was in front of her and Nicki smiled at Cardi and Cardi gave a smirk and went to her table and Megan and Normani showed up to sit with Cardi and Cardi kept looking back at Nicki making sure she wasn't acting funny and Megan and Normani had her back and Nicki wouldn't even look at them. Armon Wiggins which was already posted here said this what happened a close friend of his went to the Gala and multiple people witness this and the picture of Cardi, Megan & Normani was during that moment Nicki was behind them but they blocked her. I think someone was expecting the tide to be in their favor at that point and for Cardi to be a fad. Cardi's not Iggy (shoutout to Iggy) or Azealia (shout out to Azealia). So I'm sure that smirk was a last laugh of how Cardi has only elevated to iconic status. And just like I've been saying the point is not a battle of who takes who out...it's a matter of no longer is there a monopoly and the other ladies are supporting and helping each other while being competitive at the same time. Cardi, Doja, Meg, Lizzo, Latto and others will continue to thrive it's not going to be people trying to take each other out for the top.
