Yeah I have a feeling this will be the case too. But with how Bam Bam did vs. Psychofreak, it's evident the GP are more here for the Spanish influenced songs, rather than English pop stuff.

Not really an evidence that GP prefer Spanish influence songs..My Oh My was a hit and it wasn't Spanish influence.. A good -catchy song is what GP want (Spanish or not)

Her top 5 songs on Spotify (excluding The Christmas Song) are all Latin-Pop. And Bam Bam is still charting on Spanish Spotify. At this point in her career, I think we can confidently say it's what works best for her commercially.

Yes, we had the exceptions of My Oh My & Never Be The Same, but those songs were 3 & 5 years ago, respectively.

This should win the grammy

Nah bts always loose

their nominations and stats are good but only because of a dedicated fan base, people in the industry use them but they don’t like their music.  They are a very successful joke, that Hollywood won’t let sue Becuase Hollywood wants to tap into their audiences cash flow.

The fact that this wasn’t a single and the album didn’t take this direction. Some good songs here and there but Familia was a MISTAKE!

I personally think they should've gone for a s*xy, summer, Latin vibe. And called it La Playa or something.

Kind of serving the aesthetic she was giving in the Bam Bam promo tiktoks.

I love Familia but it WAS a mistake to call it Familia. Should’ve been Psychofreak or Don’t Go Yet. (Maybe La Buena Vida)

I get it was called that way because it was a  Familia effort but there was no correlation between the songs and lyrics to the album title. It’s clearly an album about being paranoid while in a relationship and loving your partner but having a constant dread that it’s all going to ****.

That being said, FINALLY she promotes Ku Lo Sa on social media. That song is a bop and I’m mad they just dumped it and fled.

Can't believe KU LO SA flopped :monkey: We need the selevoodoo here

I think she needs a rebrand. I know she loves her heritage, but the world don't like the Hispanic concepts  :dancehall3:

She hasn’t seen the hot 100 top 10 since senorita. :skull:

That’s not true

she needs 1, to sing Latin music in Spanish

never do this again

waste her appeal to an audience

2,

embrace the Latin heat and make reggaeton with hot choreo

That’s why Becky soared past her

Apparently Consequences had its biggest streaming day since 2018 yesterday. It out-streamed Never Be The Same, My Oh My.

Not sure what triggered this. The 5 year album anniversary maybe? But it seemed to be just this song in particular that had a big update. Anyway, can't wait for it to reach 200M.

In my dreams, Bam Bam was a smash hit that went Top 10 in the US.

We came close with My Oh My, but I really don't think there was anything else they could do for that song. It had reached #1 on pop radio & had a remix. It couldn't of gone top 10 in my opinion.

That's false.. They waited too long to release the remix and the dance video..if they had released the remix and the official dance video 2-3 weeks earlier then my oh my would have been a top 10 hit cause the points were really close on hot 100.. unfortunately, many rap songs were released back then and with drake dropping 'Dark Lane Tapes' the chances for My Oh My to peak inside of top 10 were minimal when remix and the official dance video were out..

We can’t deem facts as false.

The facts are, the song didn’t have enough points to go Top 10. You can speculate about the remix coming out earlier & pushing the song into the top 10, but the remix really didn’t add enough points to the song.

My oh my was just 4-5 points behind the #10 song on hot 100 ,if the remix and dance video were released just two weeks earlier it would have been top 10 .. that's a fact! Anyway, stream my oh my on Spotify, it's about to reach 600M soon!

Might be her best song, each of her albums has that one pure pop song that is just completely immaculate yet gets paid complete dust by Camila (this, Into It, and Used to This).
