they can drop both...chloe and halle do not compete with beyoncé in any metric???? why do y'all think this lol

and who gaf about giveon or chris brown???

Sweetie, nobody is implying that they Chloe or Halle competes with Beyoncé. If you would’ve read further…

Y’all can try to drag Chloe all y’all want to convince us Beyoncé doesn’t care, but the fact of the matter is that Chloe is Beyoncé’s investment. She does care. Beyoncé knows if she releases anything during the same week as Chloe, she will overshadow Chloe. If anything, she will at least wait a week or two to release, which is why I said it’s possible that Chloe could be releasing her single this Friday and Bey will release hers next Friday.

If you invested money and time into an artist and wanted your artist to be a commercial success, why would you release during the same week as your artist? Make that make sense. And again, what I originally said was based on speculation that Chloe will release next Friday.

So if Bey expands her rooster of clients she suddently cant release anymore because she would overshadow them? Makes no sense.

Common sense amongst the Hive isn’t so common like I thought.

I agree that it's not likely Beyoncé would release when one of her ....2? artists is releasing. Even big labels spread their big releases out, why (on paper) would Beyoncé not give Chloe her moment? It's weirder to think that she wouldn't than she would...like what is telling you she IS releasing at all?

Overshadowing by releasing during THE SAME WEEK makes absolute sense. What’s not clicking?!

I mean we can still have hope for a trailer anouncing her album some point in the future, right?

We might be reading too much into the Chlöe release, which btw does not have to be on a Friday, so it could even be June 30.

To me, the most logical explanation is that Parkwood has most likely secured a performance spot for Chlöe at the BET Awards where she'll debut "Surprise." They'll likely drop the song that weekend and try to get a boost similar to what the VMAs did for "Have Mercy."

If Beyoncé drops the week before or after, it won't really impact Chlöe that much. They are in very different leagues. If anything, they might have something planned for cross-promotion.

Ugh, I love how good she is at building her mythology. The way she incorporates 4, her birthday, her favorite color (blue), her roots and everything into her career makes her so iconic and recognizable. I don't think any other current artist has that. Even nonstans know her birthday

At this point they’re being willfully obtuse cuz what you said make perfect sense. I don’t see Beyoncé releasing the same week as her client. Like it would not make sense

I agree, though I've never really thought about that before, she's definitely so good at her brand and consistency. Even the little call-backs to past hits or fan favourites like "Freakum dress out my closet" in Jealous or the series of "-in love" song titles, she's very consistent.

It's also what I appreciate about her: she never really reinvents she just levels up. Not once has she had to redefine who she was in the public's eye or change her persona or image in order to remain current or interesting. She just brings in new elements.

This was so good. Sometimes I have to take a step back and appreciate the IASF era for what it was. I tend to automatically associate it with being tacky/her sell out era, but Crazy In Love (live) the I Am World Tour version is the only version of that song I use.  Sweet Dreams is also one of my favorite top 10 singles from her. And don’t get me started on WDYLM, which is hands down top 10 from her discography and one of my favorite songs that she performs live.

Guys, I disagree.

Bey has stated multiple times that female artists can co-exist. She has released new material along with her sister Solange and Kelly, who are both closer to her than Chloe. Professionally and personally.

Besides, Chloe can release something a week prior to or after B - no one is saying it is going to be during the same week. Additionally, Bey could still very well only announce and not release.

So yeah, I am not excluding Bey releasing just because Chloe is.

They're definitely not releasing same week

So when exactly is Chloe releasing?

truly it is an era for the books with so many great moments. Diva alone. Imagine we never got DIVA!

Whats the point of investing in an artist only to make sure that new artist gets drowned in a sea of Bey headlines everywhere? Exactly

IMG_7102.gif

chloe is not a big enough artist to have her release make any headlines to have overshadowed. she could use the boost from beyoncé, especially if B makes an appearance on chloe's album.

you literally said Since Chloe is releasing another single & video (possibly) this month, I can’t imagine Bey releasing anything this month.

but now its "the same week"? funny how u switched after hearing how crazy that sounds. of course they wouldn't drop the same week. but they definitely can drop in the same month.

beyoncé doesn't drop on fridays. again. y'all have these things mapped out like they're definite. she could drop literally any day now and chloe could still come next week.

Idek how Chlöe name got mixed in this. :rip:

Obvs there’s a handful that supports her and handful that dislikes the direction she’s going – fair enough.

Yes two women can drop and coexist. But since this is her debut album and Bey’s highly anticipated 7th album. The labels/Bey would want her to have her moment. Bey would just drop before or after Chloe simple as that. :dies:
