She said this is what she didn’t really like the first time it happened. Our baby had way too much pressure on her. 1
Mike91 Posted February 28 Posted February 28 I'm actually glad she cancels shows instead of pushing through with them tbh. That kind of **** permanently destroyed a lot of people's voices in the past. 2

A doesn’t have the luxury to rely on backing track, backup dancers and on stage theatrics to entertain. Her voice and personality is the main allure to her shows. 2

anti-bitch Posted February 29 Posted February 29 And like how @abrahamjmr said, I thought she's been sounding great, based on the recent videos from Vegas, but yeah, better to be safe than sorry Maybe it's all the crowd interaction and hugging people that exposes Adele to (their) viruses. And also the theater being such a small space, if anyone in the room coughs or sneezes it's gonna travel all over it. But having said that, the crowd interaction has been the highlight of the shows for me 1

It’s a growing trend with her.

Aslan Posted February 29 Posted February 29 The way she’s going to need to fit the missed shows into July when she was originally expected to be finished in June…urgh I needed her to have a good month of rest before Munich so we can have her at her peak.
Aslan Posted February 29 Posted February 29 Illness UMG removing her songs from tiktok It seems like a domino effect of just negativity I wonder what the 3rd f#ck up will be

Watching netflix, lol but yeah, i deffo wish her speedy recovery. I was just thinking it could be 2 and half months break, if she doesn't reschedule for April, so there would be time to do something else too

And everyone suffers from this And you know Tiktok is a business also, so it's fight over money really. I don't wanna take sides in it but certainly messy times ahead for the industry. There's pros and cons to Tiktok and it's effects on the industry, yk
Kool_Aid_King Posted March 1 Posted March 1 We got some Adelephobes that are stopping our girl's bag. Let's give the most legendary and best selling albums artist of the 2010s a #1. We can't do nothing but dance to this old **** with the voice issues 1
abrahamjmr Posted March 2 Posted March 2 She sounded more than great that weekend I saw her. Believe me, vids don't do her justice. She should've taken a break when she got sick the first time, but like I said, all this pressure after not delivering the first time in Vegas probably made her keep going and here we are now. Good thing is that this time around people are understanding why she's doing it and showing support. 2
anti-bitch Posted March 6 Posted March 6 @Aslan The US streams They need to have a completely different promo strategy in US for the next album 1

That’s the only way the GP in America seem to enjoy music these days. That or tiktok and her catalog has been removed from there… 2
Aslan Posted March 6 Posted March 6 But we need bombastic A back for A5. Big choruses, catchy melodies and radio palatable songs. if she doesn’t shift her sound for A5 then I think she will be shelved permanently in the US at least. 2

I mean Easy On Me was a smash hit for her, but I do agree it would be nice for her to go for a more upbeat song for her next lead single 2

Even if it's still a year or two away, just to hear her kind of manifest A5 that way is nice
Aslan Posted March 8 Posted March 8 (edited) I caved and finally downloaded TikTok. Omg A has so many viral videos on their… I can’t believe her team don’t utilise it more. She’s so beloved Edited March 8 by Aslan

Didn't she say something about not wanting EOM to be as big as Hello? I feel like she's given up on being really ambitious about chart and radio success. She's put out 23 songs (excluding bonus tracks) in the last decade. It's like she wants her career to slowly die, at least in terms of being relevant to the present day music industry. She just wants to be a legacy act that earns coins singing the classics. Which is a shame, because she could have done so much more. Even a few more collaborations would have added something interesting to her discography. Edited March 8 by midnightdawn 2
