Adele is over :rip: The way the GP stopped caring about her new era not even 2 months after album drop

Easy on me was #1 for like 11 weeks and her album was the best selling one from 2021. If she's over all other women should just retire lmao

Adele is over but let's not forget that Levitating is a song that had the biggest payola the music industry has ever witnessed.

Lippers are the new Monsters. Bragging about stats of a song that had terrible reaction from the GP for half a year straight and needed an endless payola and a streak of remixes with DaBaby, Madonna and Missy Elliott to finally take off. Are you not embarrazz? :biblionny:

Why would we be embarrased? It payed off in the end and that's what matters :cm:

OT: one is a classic the other one is a construct of a same old tired formula, talent won.

Its a generic dance pop song, give me a break lol

ot: Both songs are smash hits so there’s really no reason to pit them against each other :giraffe:

Wow.  Adele fan really should not have gone after every other female artist.  Time is the ultimate truth-teller.

We never went against anyone. Every other base was pressed about Adele’s success, which is different.

Not surprised, Levitating is one of the biggest songs of the decade and the biggest by a female.

Funny how years ago ODHs said Dua's stans were 'clinging to New Rules', then 'clinging to One Kiss', then 'clinging to Don't Start Now' and now 'clinging to Levitating and Cold Heart' as if having multiple mega smashes is something to be dragged for :gayalipacat3:

Maybe they removed it but there was a version with Chris Stapleton.

Do I have to post AGAIN the list of all of her singles that flopped in between these songs you brought up? Using this logic, literally every stanbase can keep bringing up the hit singles of their faves when someone points out their current single is bombing :rip: Also, New Rules peaked at #6 and only spent four weeks inside the Hot 100 chart, so let's not act like it was a massive WW hit everywhere :rip:  Also One Kiss peaked at only #26 :skull:

So you're going to define WW hits based on US stats only? Worms for brains :swan:
