I think we need MORE latin hits on the Hot 100 high portions. They're a lot more fun than some of the other crap charting high rn.

Every big latin hit like Despacito, Ginza, Bailando, El Perdon etc is a +10 weeks #1 monster hit here in Italy :rip:

but it's cool to see one of them finally top the Hot 100.

It means the first song was a one weeker. It's 2 new songs at #1 in 2 consecutive weeks

Rather than, for example, a 9 weeker #1 followed by self replacement.

Thanks. A fellow Navy always coming to save the day! :heart2:

Can someone explain me Bieber's accomplishment? Billboard is taking about him being the first act with new back-to-back #1 but isn't being #1 back-to-back the same of self replacement? I'm confused.

I think it's because ITO was #1 for the first time and then Despacito went #1 for the first time. Most #1 replacements follow multi-week #1s. It isn't really an achievement as much as a distinction.

That song is over unless Enrique tries the Bailando route and makes a Spanglish version with a young, big name artist.

Ricky should get Bieber to replace Maluma on Vente Pa' Ca. :rip:

The song was already gaining momentum in the States. Beiber's brand just made it that much bigger.

You're either an oppressed Trump supporter who doesn't want a Spanish language song charting at the top, or you are pressed that Beiber's brand carries a lot of starpower unlike your fave. You must be in hell if you're all of the above.

Don't worry this song will eventually fall...despacito!

BORICUA!!! So awesome to see two Puerto Ricans at #1. Thanks Justin.

The song is overplayed af in latin countries but I'm glad it's getting the recognition it deserves in the states :clap3:

I always have found weird that Billboard's tracking period for Radio is different that the one for sales/streaming. That doesn't make any sense.
