Billie gave us exactly what we needed with the rock-alternative smash. Got chills the first time I heard it, because everyone who's been in a toxic relationship can RELATE to what she's saying. Definitely will go down as one of her best songs ever.

This amazing songggg It's really just another effortless slay from the vocal goddess Kali Uchis. So glad she finally managed to get a hit, this song definitely deserves it.

This was the first Snoh Aalegra album that I actually enjoyed, a lot. Her voice is incredible, the production is gorgeous, and I can’t complain at two(!) Tyler, the Creator collaborations. This album would definitely be used in an argument that R&B won this year.

I decided to combine Alina Baraz’s EP series into one post since they compliment each other incredibly well. The tracks sound like a cohesive project when grouped together despite being split into a light + dark EP series. Anyway, the progression from my 2020 Album of the Year, “It Was Divine”, is very apparent here. Baraz’s vocals sound more mature and confident than ever, and smooth as silk as always. The only complaint is that the projects could’ve been at least 2 songs longer!
