TaylenaStan Posted December 9, 2021 Posted December 9, 2021 (edited) 6 5,613,000 BEERBONGS AND BENTLEYS Post Malone 10 5,091,000 STONEY Post Malone 11 4,879,000 HOLLYWOOD'S BLEEDING Post Malone the consistency So if this doesnt count pre-release SPS, BB&B might be 6xPlat already? Dreajae Posted December 9, 2021 Posted December 9, 2021 I’m confused. Is this just the streaming equivalents of each album? Cause Lemonade is at 3.5 million Total units.
Armani? Posted December 9, 2021 Posted December 9, 2021 Why is H.E.R on this list? ATRL told me she was a unknown flop

So basically every album on this list sold more units than the numbers you see here

How many pre-Anti albums by Rihanna reached 4-5 Platinum since she was "lifting her finger" back then? Since she was releasing yearly, i assume that every album of her performed like Rep-Lover-Folklore

Ofcourse it's a bit higher when we include Hello's units before the album came out. As others said pre album release units are not included only units after the album started charting on BB200. All albums released before December 13 2014 are missing units obviously. With weeks missing from BB200 and Hello pre-release numbers (sales til Oct 12 2021): https://hitsdailydouble.com/news&id=328641&title=ADELE-BY-THE-NUMBERS%3A-ALBUMS%2C-SINGLES-RTD

alfonso12 Posted December 9, 2021 Posted December 9, 2021 Funny how the top 2 are females but then the rest of the top 20 only has one more female at the bottom. 5 hours ago, istan4badgalriri said: ANTI the biggest female album since its release 6 years ago iktr Billie's debut is bigger. 4 hours ago, istan4badgalriri said: Still, the biggest female album from a pop girl who didn’t debut in the streaming era Taylor and Adele didn't debut in the streaming era.

I was talking about how releasing music often boosts an artist’s catalog on streaming platforms, in the streaming era (and Taylor understood that very well). My point remains that no female album has sold sold more than ANTI, since its release 6 years ago, except for Billie’s album (a streaming era artist).

I think SPS needs to be bumped up considerably to accommodate that. That's the reason why 100k fake sales from BoTS can get you to #1 on Hot100 where as a song streamed by literal millions of people same week will miss that #1.
onewillowsilk Posted December 9, 2021 Posted December 9, 2021 Drake with 9 albums on the list. Take Care and Nothing Was the Same making the list despite being released years before the SPS era
