Armani? Posted December 9, 2021 Author Posted December 9, 2021 Why is there no Billboard page for Olivia Newton?
NOW Posted December 9, 2021 Posted December 9, 2021 Lana's 10-year album still charting today, now that's what I call a classic

Album artist, diamond (solo) singles, Oscar winner, Grammy winner, can sing live (and she does it so well), piano player, successful acting and singing careers, respected by singing and acting legends and admired by younger successful artists. Literally the whole package.

Serving Lana Del Rey with Born To Die Now I know you didn't say that when MOST charted longer than ARTPOP and AGLM charted longer than Chromatica. 6 hours ago, Hot Volcano said: 5 studio albums (in this case I'll consider TFM an EP ) VS 8 studio albums And since you want to consider TFM an EP ()... Anti represents 40% of Rihanna's BB200 weeks. TF(M) is 50% of Gaga's (and still 40% if you don't count Monster) Edited December 9, 2021 by Klein

LSTB ST was a #1 album and TMITM and Diana Ross (76) were top 5 albums as well. 1980's Diana was a smash album and '81's WDFFIL was similarly a hit album. She was mostly done after that, but she had a good showing. Like @idkwiam mentioned her total probably includes albums that were billed to Diana Ross & The Supremes as well. Their 2 collaboration albums with the Temptations in the late 60's were huge successes. Their first peaked at #2 and the second, which was a live album for their TCB special hit #1 in early '69. Yes for some reason Billboard counts Diana Ross & The Supremes albums as duo rather than a group on BB200. They don't apply the same thing for H100.

hummingbird12 Posted December 9, 2021 Posted December 9, 2021 Helsey has more than Christina , Toni Braxton, Shakira . mega mess. US taste is questionable
PopFan1996 Posted December 9, 2021 Posted December 9, 2021 Adele did that with only 3 albums she’s insane

SavagePapi Posted December 9, 2021 Posted December 9, 2021 Barbra! Ended all of our faves, as she should!!

I understand why they include streams of singles in albums sales now, because you can't NOT in a streaming era, but it definitely changes the way we should compare albums released in or slightly before the streaming era, and those released several years or even decades before it. Actually having to LEAVE YOUR HOUSE to go out and physically find the album in exchange for money will always show a far deeper and important connection to the listener than simply having a hit that everyone listens to and boosts the album sales.
