family.guy123 Posted December 4, 2021 Posted December 4, 2021 Thought this would be interesting to post now since this could very well be the final list, notwithstanding another shift in the industry. family.guy123 Posted December 4, 2021 Author Posted December 4, 2021 (edited) Adele is the first new entry in over 4 years (unless the entry she knocked off was after 2017, not sure what it was) Edit: nvm as a user pointed out below, Lover should be on this list. aesthetic bih Posted December 4, 2021 Posted December 4, 2021 25 having 3 separate weeks where it hit 1M-mark + overall 5 weeks where it hit 500k-mark. Incredibly impressive!

I can't tell if this is being sarcastic lol, but he said "So, 4 years since I last posted this list of the biggest traditional album sales weeks since SoundScan (now MRC data) began tracking sales back in 1991 - Adele's new album comes in at #79" so the list is fully updated until 2017.
Johnny Jacobs Posted December 4, 2021 Posted December 4, 2021 Usher had a 1million first week? Girl the downfall.. I didn't realize he was so huge.

brianc33710 Posted December 5, 2021 Posted December 5, 2021 And 21 sold more than all of them, except Beatles #1s, with only 1 wk in the Top 100 sales weeks & I think only 1 wk > 500k in its entire 11 year chart life.

Yeah the biggest week was 730k the week after Grammys 2012. When the album was 1 year old. 2nd biggest week was xmas 2011 with 399k
