Noah Posted September 3, 2021 Posted September 3, 2021 Queen - Don't Stop Me Now - not one of my favorite queen songs Billie Eilish - Happier Than Ever - haven’t listened to her new album yet bc the singles were disappointing but this was actually interesting Yeah Yeah Yeahs - Zero - glad to see them here <3 cute sing WILLOW - Lipstick - she’s no transparent soul HAIM - The Wire - yeah it’s a classic Lindsay Lohan - Rumors - yaaaas gottmik Miley Cyrus, Dua Lipa - Prisoner - a bop Sky Ferreira - I Will - a f*cking CLASICCCCC Halsey - Honey - love the lyrics Fleetwood Mac - The Chain - another classic yas Tina Turner - Proud Mary - classic classic classic Rina Sawayama - Alterlife - love rina <3 Bonnie Tyler - Total Eclipse of the Heart - this is one of the greatest songs ever idc what anyone else says Stacie Orrico - Stuck - very 2000s Katy Perry - If You Can Afford Me - katy does pop rock so well <3
ZORBIT Posted September 3, 2021 Posted September 3, 2021 Spoiler Queen - Don't Stop Me Now I always heard this song in movies, it's a memorable classic. Queen can't do no wrong as a historic artist. Billie Eilish - Happier Than Ever Automatic snooze in the beginning & I'll say it again, DROP FINNEAS, this was too slow for me and doesn't have that consistent pop rock punch I was looking for. Though the second half's guitar punches are lovely but not enough for me personally. Yeah Yeah Yeahs - Zero This started off with a great vocal tone and amazing build up especially starting the second first verse WILLOW - Lipstick The automatic kick of those guitar riffs starting at the beginning caught me off guard. I actually enjoyed this a lot. Grimey yet melodic, gracias for her Album promo HAIM - The Wire I never got into HAIM outside their hung Harris collab but this was alright. The instrumentation is cute but throughout the entirety of this, I felt like there's something missing. Next Lindsay Lohan - Rumors An iconic 00's staple. Drag race couldn't bring Justice for this but this is still great. Weird how there's so many girls that broke through with pop rock but couldn't consistently maintain their sound Miley Cyrus, Dua Lipa - Prisoner I loved how she shared that they both worked on several songs before agreeing this was their best. Because it is Sky Ferreira - I Will I was always aware of Ms. Sky but never took a chance on her. I loved the emphasis on the instrumental over her vocals. The Industrial influence is there production wise and by the second listen I'm sold. Halsey - Honey I wish she included this in her film because it's one of her best "single" work to date. The industrial-esque production is great and I underestimated how dynamic her voice can really fit in more than one style of music Fleetwood Mac - The Chain first automatic dud imo, I respect Ms. Nicks but the execution of this doesn't connect with me Tina Turner - Proud Mary Too much of a slow burner for over two minutes. Nice kick for the second half of the song, middle teir for me. Rina Sawayama - Alterlife So by the third time I heard this, I loved everything about this. The instrumental is pop rock definition in my opinion top5 para mi Bonnie Tyler - Total Eclipse of the Heart This does not pop my rock at all. A monumental classic but thank you for another elderly playlist add. (song doesn't finish) Next Stacie Orrico - Stuck There should be more melodic rock guitar influences. I didn't enjoy this. Katy Perry - If You Can Afford Me For Ms. Katy, who attempted pop rock as a debut, this falls short. Circle The Drain is so much superior & I'll never forgive her saying "Belinda? Who's Belinda?" pa fuera Some Group B Thoughts bcuz I love Pop Rock Spoiler Ashlee Simpson - Pieces Of Me Cute classic but for some reason Invisible hits harder for me. Paramore - Still Into You I can never get enough of the instrumental & chorus. Cute choice, I honestly forgot about this song Halsey - You Asked For This Should be top3 & stomps Honey to pieces. Slayyyter - Over This! I never expected this type of excellency from her. Amazing progressive revamp of pop rock, the production hits hard Paramore - crushcrushcrush The nostalgia with the prechorus kicking into the Chorus>>>> Fall Out Boy - Uma Thurman no no no... Yeah Yeah Yeahs - Heads Will Roll A classic staple I feel like I can tell who sent this Miley Cyrus - Gimme What I Want Buena Suerte Mr. Congeniality
