Rolling Stone Chart is currently the most accurate popularity chart in the US so I believe we have to take it more seriously. Here are the #1 female songs on their top 100 songs chart since its first issue on July 02, 2019.

Boyfriend being #1 is surprising. It wasn’t even top 5 on BB. That’s probably one of the biggest discrepancies in the two placements
