My only complaint is motive's placement because it just feels weird. It's a boring song stuck between a song that ends with an outro that doesn't flow well into it along with a ballad immediately after it. Clue Artist Name + EP Title - 0.5/0.5 Cover Art - 0.5/0.5 Tracklist - 5.5/6 Explanation - 3/3 Total - 9.5/10 - Not “Boysiana” :kii6:. But anyway, the EP flows nicely sonically up until Motive, which felt kinda weird sandwiched between Love Language and Off the Table. Staryu Artist Name + EP Title - 0.5/0.5 Cover Art - 0.5/0.5 Tracklist - 5.5/6 Explanation - 3/3 Total - 9.5/10 - Wow I can tell you put a lot of thought and effort into this brilliant EP, it fully encompasses the modern gay romance. I love the cover, better than the original. I am taking off .5 for not including Safety Net though. wehavetostan - Miley Cyrus - Plastic Hearts - 6 tracks Astro Artist Name + EP Title - 0.5/0.5 Cover Art - 0.5/0.5 Tracklist - 6/6 Explanation - 3/3 Total - 10/10 - You didn't come to play at all this round, and this is a solid entry. Stomping on other girls like this... You did what you had to do. I wish Break Yourself was here, though–underrated masterpiece mhm. (I’m giving you extra points in spirit for the Google Doc). The tracks you chose are my faves and they all go together and form a lovely little journey, I feel like you definitely understood the assignment. Rotunda - Olivia Rodrigo - Sour - 6 tracks Astro Artist Name + EP Title - 0.5/0.5 Cover Art - 0.5/0.5 Tracklist - 4/6 Explanation - 1.5/3 Total - 6.5/10 - I'm gonna be as honest as possible. I don't like this. This feels thrown together based on what was popular on streaming from the album with "deep and meaningful" songs tacked on at the beginning and end for some form of credibility. It just doesn't feel cohesive to me - granted, the album in general is barely cohesive, but still. I had high hopes four SOUR being an EP because it's too stagnant as an album, but I'm honestly just disappointed. Clue Artist Name + EP Title - 0.5/0.5 Cover Art - 0.5/0.5 Tracklist - 5/6 Explanation - 1.5/3 Total - 7.5/10 - I feel like you just threw together big hits + the leftovers. Really not a strong connection when it comes to a storyline. I haven’t heard the album, but I’m assuming you picked the best tracks. I just wish the explanations were stronger. Staryu Artist Name + EP Title - 0.5/0.5 Cover Art - 0.5/0.5 Tracklist - 6/6 Explanation - 2/3 Total - 9/10 - Well you chose all the best tracks for me, these are basically the only ones I even listen to, so I can’t fault the tracklist, but your explanations are a little lackluster, like choosing a song just because it’s popular. Your explanation was fine, I get what you are going for with the EP. I feel like the first 4 tracks are definitely a lot stronger than the last 3 though. Your approach explaining why you didn’t include certain tracks was cool. Staryu Artist Name + EP Title - 0.5/0.5 Cover Art - 0.5/0.5 Tracklist - 5/6 Explanation - 3/3 Total - 9/10 - New Heights is a cute title for this album, the cover serving Tinsahe Aquarius original cover. I feel like all these songs mesh well together, the order/storyline works for me, even though I prefer Brightest Blue to a few of these included, New Heights the song itself kinda bores me tbh. The theme for Round 11 is... Emoji Explosion...but Make it Live! This round, we'll be putting you all in a Discord channel where we'll be giving you an emoji and you have to give us a song QUICKLY in the channel that you believe embodies the emoji the most. You will only have TWO minutes to choose your song, and once you choose the song, that's it. You can't choose the same song either. The judges will then deliberate separately and rank the songs where the bottom person will be out. This process will continue until one person remains, and that person will be the winner of the challenge. It's that simple. You'll be in your channels shortly.
