This challenge is still a tribal challenge and will be acting as your "ticket to the merge." Only ONE tribe will be winning this ticket and will not have to attend Tribal Council. The rest of you, however, will have to attend Tribal Council TOGETHER where one of you will be voted out. And then we'll merge and you all will be one tribe. With that said, here are the results...

Lyric - 2/5 - Yeah it’s kind of too dark for it to be light-hearted and springy. Sonic - 3/5 - Best part of the song tbh. It’s cute and light in some parts but kind of too dramatic in other parts. Total - 5/10 Clue Lyric - 3/5 - I wish it didn’t have so much to do with the relationship. Sonic - 4/5 - Pretty much sounds like Spring. Total - 7/10 Staryu Lyric - 2/5 - Well, the first verse is the most on theme/Springy, from there it gets darker and sadder as her relationship comes to an end, which is definitely not on theme. Sonic - 3/5 - Sonically it is cutesy and light in parts but drags down in others. Total - 5/10 Supaspaz - Well, this is a good lesson in digging deeper than the title before making a selection. The song is about the end of spring as a metaphor for the end of a relationship. That’s practically the opposite of what the theme called for. The instrumental also just gets far too heavy to properly evoke spring vibes. Lyric - 2 Sonic - 2.5 Total - 4.5/10 Donovan - The Lullaby of Spring Buddy! Lyric - 5/5 - Lyrics are perfect. Sonic - 2/5 - Whew girl it’s too slow/boring. Just does not give spring vibes at all. Total - 7/10 Clue Lyric - 4/5 - The fact that the production is so NOT Spring is taking away from the lyrics for me subconsciously. But on paper, the lyrics work. Sonic - 1/5 - It’s giving me wintery vibes tbh. Not Spring whatsoever. Total - 5/10 Staryu Lyric - 5/5 - The lyrics are on point. Sonic - 2/5 - Sonically not really, it sounds like a Radiohead song, the depression. Total - 7/10 Supaspaz - I suppose you can’t argue with the content. Green leaves and newborn rabbits may be an extremely literal interpretation of the theme, but they’re not wrong. So why does Donovan sound so morose? Lyric - 5 Sonic - 2 Total - 7/10 Green Aphrodisiac - Corinne Bailey Rae Buddy! Lyric - 5/5 - Can’t complain. Those lyrics completely hit the mark. Sonic - 3.5/5 - Sonically, however, doesn’t quite give me spring but her voice is just magical. Total - 8.5/10 Clue Lyric - 5/5 - Exactly what we were looking for. Sonic - 4/5 - Again, it sounds like Fall or Winter to me, but maybe I’m crazy. Total - 9/10 Staryu Lyric - 5/5 - The lyrics serve new life and the warmth of Spring and they really paint a beautiful picture of a lovely Spring day. Sonic - 4/5 - Sonically, the song is very calm and sensual, it doesn't scream Spring to me but it's whispering it? Total - 9/10 Supaspaz - Oh, how I wish this was “Put Your Records On”! It’s a lovely song, though it drips with a languid sensuality that feels a touch more like the dog days of summer to me. Lyric - 5 Sonic - 3.5 Total - 8.5/10 Elvis Presley - Spring Fever Buddy! Lyric - 5/5 - Lyrics of course work. Elvis is looking for a new start which is what we’re looking for here. Sonic - 4/5 - Gives me more summer but still works. Total - 9/10 Clue Lyric - 4.5/5 - I couldn’t gone for a little bit more depth, but it’s still a good pick. Wish there was more mention of rejuvenation but the optimism is there so I’m good with this! Sonic - 4.5/5 - Bouncy and Spring-like. Total - 9/10 Staryu Lyric - 5/5 - It's definitely Spring and Elvis is super excited about it, he's ready to create new life I imagine. Sonic - 4/5 - It’s a jaunty tune, it could work for Spring or Summer for me, not just specifically Spring, but it works yes. Total - 9/10 Supaspaz - Now I know your team was just googling for songs with spring in the name. Elvis is definitely excited here about spring as a season for starting fresh. But this is bordering on surf rock, which I naturally associate with summer. Lyric - 5 Sonic - 3.5 Total - 8.5/10 Rain In The Spring Time - GFRIEND Buddy! Lyric - 4.5/5 - “And you came to me like the warm spring rain. You wake me from my sleep” YUP YUP! Sonic - 5/5 - Very light. I really dig this. Total - 9.5/10 Clue Lyric - 4.5/5 - Literally mentions the cold Winter going away. It’s pretty perfect. Sonic - 5/5 - Totally sounds like Spring. Total - 9.5/10 Staryu Lyric - 4.5/5 - It works well, a lot of Springy vibes, flowers, winter leaving, warmth, etc. Sonic - 5/5 - Sonically it is very light and cute and sweet, and very Springy to me. Total - 9.5/10 Supaspaz - Sweet and innocent and floating along on an airy keyboard synth, this could easily be playing while the narrator strolls through the flowers that bloomed in her heart, hand-in-hand with the love she’s serenading. Lyric - 5/5 - Completely uplifting. Great lyrics, beautiful lyrics! Sonic - 5/5 - Just so poppy, airy, etc. Just gives you dem spring vibes. Total - 10/10 Clue Lyric - 5/5 - One of my favorite songs of all time, lemme just start by saying that. If this song doesn’t put you in a good mood, I don’t know what will. It’s about the winter ending and the Spring beginning, “It’s all right.” Sonic - 5/5 - Feels like walking through a park in Spring. Total - 10/10 Staryu Lyric - 5/5 - A perfect song choice for me, it's about rejuvenation, relief winter/dark times are over, there's optimism, it's perfect. Sonic - 5/5 - This song is just sunny and warm, very calming and lovely, perfect for Spring. Total 10/10 Supaspaz - This is one of my absolute favorite Beatles songs. It’s so jubilant and always puts me in a good mood. I had actually forgotten about the explicit imagery of winter ending, but when I heard that, it was an easy perfect score. Lyric - 5 Sonic - 5 Total - 10/10 Electric Light Orchestra - Mr Blue Sky Buddy! Lyric - 5/5 - This classic. The lyrics are perfect. Sonic - 5/5 - Easy, breezy, beautiful etc. This song is like exactly what I think of when I envision spring. Total - 10/10 Clue Lyric - 5/5 - Okay y’all going off with the ancient songs. Sonic - 5/5 - Perfect. Total - 10/10 Staryu Lyric - 5/5 - The lyrics are bright and happy and optimistic and they talk about it being a beautiful new day. Sonic - 5/5 - A very jaunty fun song, it makes me think of Queen and it feels very Spring to me. Total - 10/10 Supaspaz - Between the jaunty strings and the breezy harmonies, it’s a fantastic spring vibe. And the lyrics are teeming with a sense of rejuvenation, particularly in the second verse as they seemingly welcome a new baby into the world. Lyric - 5 Sonic - 5 Total - 10/10 Spring Again - Lou Rawls Buddy! Lyric - 5/5 - Completely fits. Sonic - 4/5 - It’s kind of sultry/summery but it still works IMO. Total - 9/10 Clue Lyric - 5/5 - Couldn’t ask for more here. Sonic - 4.5/5 - KINDA sounds like summer, but it’s me nitpicking. Total - 9.5/10 Staryu Lyric - 5/5 - Perfect lyrics, not much to critique here. Sonic - 4.5/5 - I agree with the other judges, it has a little Summery feel but also Spring too, maybe it’s late Spring. Total - 9.5/10 Supaspaz - Out of all the entries that are literally about spring, this one works the best for me. That sweeping orchestral arrangement strikes the right atmosphere for the season, though the fluttery bossa nova undertone does creep in like the summer that he says is not too far away. Lyric - 5/5 - Very happy this has no mention of spring. It fits the theme perfectly for me. Sonic - 4/5 - It’s there, but doesn’t have that exact punch. Still beautiful, though! Total - 9/10 Clue Lyric - 4.5/5 - So this met the challenge without having to literally spell out “SPRING IS HERE.” Sonic - 4.5/5 - It’s all there pretty much. Total - 9/10 Staryu Lyric - 5/5 - New life is here, Celine is birthing out Spring, the rain is rejuvenating the world as she sings. Sonic - 5/5 - Tranquil, light, optimistic like an early Spring morning. Total - 10/10 Supaspaz - Legendary new mother anthem! Spring is the season of birth — captured here as Celine sings about having her first child. The song’s ethereal vibe is so beautiful, though it truly does border at times on feeling like a religious hymn. Lyric - 5 Sonic - 3.5 Total - 8.5/10 Kacey Musgraves - Butterflies Buddy! Lyric - 5/5 - I mean the title alone makes me think of Spring and flowers. It knocks the theme right out the park luv. We love a good rebirth chile. Sonic - 5/5 - And ofc sonically it’s perfect. Total Score - 10/10 Clue Lyric - 5/5 - Ugh one of my favorite songs on the album. You totally knocked it out of the park with this one. The REJUVENATION anthem. Sonic - 5/5 - Perfect in a different kind of way. Like my third eye has opened. Total Score - 10/10 Staryu Lyric - 5/5 - Butterflies make me think of Spring and this song works on both the literal and metaphorical levels, her lover brought her out of her cocoon like Jasmine Masters, it’s the rebirth and renewal for me. Sonic - 5/5 - Very pretty and warm, a lovely Spring evening. Total Score - 10/10 Supaspaz - This song sounds like sitting on the porch during a warm spring evening, sipping on iced tea. I love that the butterfly imagery has a double meaning, both of which serve the spring theme: the fizzy delight of starting a new relationship and her own metamorphosis as a woman. Lyric - 5/5 Sonic - 5/5 Total - 10/10 Johnny Nash - I Can Clearly See Now Buddy! Lyric - 5/5 - What else is there to say? It’s a classic. Sonic - 5/5 - That was a classic, that was a classic, etc. Total - 10/10 Clue Lyric - 5/5 - Perfect. Sonic - 5/5 - Perfect. 10/10 Staryu Lyric - 5/5 - The lyrics are perfect for spring, the optimism of a new day Sonic - 5/5 - Perfect. Total - 10/10 Supaspaz - What a classic. It’s such a perfect celebration of coming out of the dark. But I did have to take into account that tinge of melancholy which, while giving the song an even greater emotional poignancy, does slightly detract from the spring ambience. Lyric - 5 Sonic - 4.5 Total - 9.5/10 Cat Stevens – Morning Has Broken Buddy! Lyric - 3.5/5 - I get what you were going with here. Not quite there for me, though. Sonic - 3.5/5 - Yeah it’s alright. It’s like late summer/early fall for me TBH Total - 7/10 Clue Lyric - 4/5 - Well this was a different approach and it worked for me. Sonic - 4.5/5 - Kinda very summery to me somehow? But it’s still good for the round. Total - 8.5/10 Staryu Lyric - 3.5/5 - The lyrics are very “praise”y, half the song he is praising God, but the other lyrics work well for springtime. Sonic - 4.5/5 - It’s very folksy and light, it’s nice for the theme. Total - 8/10 Supaspaz - Nature as spiritual communion isn’t quite hitting the theme for me. The generic imagery of morning arriving could theoretically connect to spring as a metaphor for renewal, but his wonderment here is aimed squarely at God’s power of creation. At least the acoustic folk guitar and light vocals are working in its favor. Lyric - 2 Sonic - 4 6/10 Demi Lovato - The Art of Starting Over Buddy! Lyric - 4/5 - Yeah the lyrics are just about what we were looking for. Literally “starting over” Sonic - 3/5 - Not entirely there for me, sorry! It’s a bit too heavy, very much summer for me. Total - 7/10 Clue Lyric - 5/5 - Even with the sonic issues, this is a good pick. I think the lyrics really help it feel more like a Spring song with the themes of… starting over and optimism. Sonic - 3/5 - Sounds more like Summer to me. It feels heavy for Spring. Total - 8/10 Staryu Lyric - 5/5 - Demi is serving rebirth and rejuvenation with these lyrics, very on theme for me. Sonic - 3.5/5 - It has some Spring vibes but it also feels kinda Summery to me as well. Total - 8.5/10 Supaspaz - You all are going to force me to listen to this entire new Demi Lovato album before the season is over, aren’t you? There’s definitely a sense of resurrection here that connects to the theme, though it dwells just a touch too long in the darkness.
