Guys will Billboard combine the streams the original version got with this new version for the Hot 100? If so then Love Story would kind of have top 3 on lock seeing as the original got a substantial boost as well.

impossible because apparently billboard will count Love Story original and Taylor Version seperately so the points will be split  if they combined the boost the original got with these streams from the new version she'd have a shot I think but now it's impossible. Let's hope at least #3 so it can have a new peak!

no apparently they will count separately for some reason :/ @itsjem and @By the Water  can explain better I think  I wish they combined them...BB isnt counting it as a remix and more so as a seperate cover of sorts.

Yea, sadly. From the new Billboard article: "Re-recordings of older songs or albums are treated separately from their originals, with independent chart histories for each version. Thus, Fearless (Taylor's Version) and "Love Story (Taylor's Version)" will chart separately from Swift's original 2008 recordings of the album and song, respectively"

The way this could actually benefit her though, she could score a few more #1 albums, not just Debut, plus her list of Hot 100 entries is gonna become even more massive
