The entire top 10 did 50k+ two weeks ago :rip:

This being the standard in 2021 is even sadder :deadbanana4: in 2011 the entire top 10 did 100k+ on the same December week!

Ready for Tay Tay to capitalize off of these weak sales/no major releases. :chick1:

...she’s already predicted to be #1 without lifting a finger, why would she need to capitalize off anything.

Taylor went #1 with record low sales during the week of Dec 1,2011.

QUEEN OF BREAKING LOW SALES RECORDS

This week, though Taylor Swift's "Speak Now" remains at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 for a sixth nonconsecutive week, it does so while earning a dubious honor. With just 52,000 copies sold (down 32%), it earns the distinction of notching the lowest-ever sales frame for a No. 1 album since Nielsen SoundScan began tracking data in 1991.

Omg these were the days :jonny5:

Album charts aren't even interesting to follow now (for me at least) because everything is so streaming dependent

Man...what a lucky time to peak in!! That's why it's not reasonable to compare sales before 2003 and sales after let alone after 2015/6. The 90s, especially that period 99-2002 was really a blessed time.

If only we could go back to that.
