And I'm dead @ ATRLers thinking they're the gurus of measuring music popularity and that these songs aren't "relevant" because they haven't listened to them. :rip:

I could name the majority of these songs and most people under 25 could sing a verse on the spot. It ain't anyone's fault ya'll aren't hip to what's actually hot with the kids.

I can't wait for the day the Top 10 is 100% urban. Imagine the meltdown threads on this forum. :jonny:

Single sales were strangely high this week, nice. So Gaga should be near 80k as well.

I'll take that top 10 in a heartbeat over any other top 10 from the last 2-3 years tbh. Multiple classics.

To repeat what I said in the beginning of the thread....wheres @Vin:fan:

As I've always said, longevity is key, and Kendrick Lamar has no longevity in terms of Billboard.

Kendrick Lamar is currently a fad rapper peaking. This is no different than a "Panda" or a "Bad and Boujee."

But, congrats...? No$tradamus only speaks truths.

Maybe a lot of songs were discounted? The number of debuts doesn't seem overly high. But look at the spike in the total (estimated) sales of songs ranked 11-100.

Top 10 is truly a mess though. Kendrick at #1 with no airplay and Ed #2 with over 200M airplay shows how streaming is weighted far too heavily in the current algorithm.

I can't stand Ed and would never root for him, but he honestly should be #1 still. The true travesty is the fact that Bruno will probably get blocked from that deserved #1

what is this logic? :rip:  streaming is the most used way of music consumption by a HUGE margin these days, ofc it should be weighted the heaviest :rip:

Also I do think that BB's chart is severely inaccurate.

Number 3 on digital and number 39 on hot 100 shouldn't really be possible, even if the other 2 components are like 0 0, but considering The Cure did ok on streaming too should be at least top 20..

again what is this logic? :rip:  #3 digital is what, 70k sales? 80k? :rip: how can you expect a component to be weighted similarly with the other two when people barely use it anymore?  are you serious?

I remember when people on OldTRL said that Pop would dominate the charts for the rest of the decade and afterwards lmao.

Just because one of y'all don't know a song in the top 10, don't mean it doesn't deserve to be there, or that the formula is ****ed up

blaime the consumer for having a different taste then, but god stop with the "STREamInG has ****ed uppp everythAnG!!1!!"

this lol. stay mad but keep your fumes away from here if your faves, or you, can't keep up with the trend:ahh:it's not Billboard's fault

Changed my argument from what to what? My argument has always been that Kendrick Lamar has no longevity.

And again, we will see this happen in the coming weeks.
