you sorted through Nightmare Vacation QUICK! I still haven't gotten to listen. Shoutout Ari though

It's not my top fav from c, but I think Miss Anthro is a solid project too.

And yes I believe in Shygirl supremacy,

Yeah Nightmare Vacation is a pretty good album, to be honest it doesn't push any boundaries or anything, it's Rico Nasty as we all know her, but I still vouch for it :jamming:

ah i see you are cominging eps and albums.

well, i liked every single album here.  unfortunately idk if i can put 070 on my lists because even though it was release like in janaury i listened to it for the first time this week.  late i know!  georgia is great, kinda want her to find her own sound.  some songs were giving me m.i.a. and some songs were giving me... chvrches.

shygirl, cxh, and grimes, well i stan them.  interesting grimes picks, aside from 4aem which is pretty obvious.  the other 2 aren't ones i see chosen a lot but darkseid MIGHT be better than scream.

I just didn't listen to enough EPs this year to split them into a different list, I included any EPs that are cohesive enough as a body of work, rather than just collections of singles. I think they sit fine alongside the albums.  As for Georgia, she's one of my favourite discoveries this year! I found her when she opened for a Charli show I went to, she had amazing energy :1stplace:

I had been seeing them all over Twitter for the longest time but never got around to actually checking them out. I'm so so glad I did in the end :jonny6:

Chromatica and Folklore are both great - THOUGH I don't truly love either.

Shygirl exactly :jonny5:was pleasantly surprised by both the 070 Shake and the Chloe x Halle albums! The Georgia album has some excellent songs too, even if I feel it had a little too much filler.

Fetch The Bolt Cutters, Folklore, Heaven to a Tortured Mind & What's Your Pleasure? almost in the top 10 :weeps:

I just checked Miss Anthopocene. Thanks for the recommendation. I wish I had heard it before. My favorite is 4ÆM.

Ahhh there's plenty of quality on here so far!

Jaguar, Euphoric Sad Songs, After Hours, Die 4 Ur Love, Plastic Hearts, Women In Music, Punisher, Cape God 2000AND4EVA, folklore, Chromatica, Use Me, What's Your Pleasure? :clap3::clap3::clap3: Women In Music & Manic could've been stronger but at least they have nice highlights in there. I'm glad VERITE gave us something better than 'new skin', although I need something that's just as good as 'Somewhere In Between' :matty:

Seeking Thrills & Modus Vivendi are generally nice. Ungodly Hour is excellence yup yup :smitten: About Work the Dancefloor, Morrow, Guilty Conscience, Forgive Me, Do It and Busy Boy getting shoutouts :jamming:

Georgia and 070 Shake, two very underrated artists so it's nice to see them getting some love.

CxH kinda overrated imo. Shygirl and Grimes, talentry luv

I don't know the albums this set, but Fake It Flowers and especially FTBC and WYP deserved to make it :jonny5:

Glad you did! A lot of the lists this year seem to not be giving it much love when it's such a strong album.

The acclaim :gaygacat2: Someone else liking Use Me... the taste is radiating. Although I disagree with you on VERITE, I liked Somewhere in Between but it kinda just felt like she was trying to emulate other artists like Banks, new skin was a return to form for me.

WYP is sitting pretty at #11, it was very hard to keep her out of the top 10 but I do think the albums above her are stronger :dancehall3:  FTBC I had some issues with because the album kinda does lack melodies throughout, Fiona Apple is a raw talent and subverts any kind of song structure which I love from her but still girl get some tunes in there.  Fake It Flowers is very cute but doesn't have much lyrical depth, i DO stan though :alexz:

the clipping album is definitely unique and probably not that accessible, but it's very strong, I hadn't listened to any horrorcore type music before and I was very surprised with it :jamming:

I can see why some people wouldn't appreciate the Georgia album as much as I did but honestly it's a very solid album and feels very genuine and a labour of love. Physical being overrated should get you banned ON THE SPOT. :monkey: As for Charli HIFN is a return to form after the self-referential mess that self titled was, it feels like she's pushing the envelope again and she popped off doing it, amazing album. :jamming: and Sawayama is honestly breathtaking, I can't summarise in a sentence how good of an album it is.

Sawayama :jonny: DESERVED

I've honestly been surprised at the reception of HIFN on here, it's her most honest work since Pop 2. Same deal with Sayama, I've seen her in honourable mentions and lower ends of lists way too much :busted:

The way I forgot to listen to Dagny’s album :busted: lemme see if sis should be in honourable mentions
