That was an unexpected choice as your #1 song. Have you heard his latest record? It was a really good one.

Needless to say, Physical is another great track. Glad it reached the podium!

The top 10 more or less captures my year as well. Flawless top 3, any of them can be SOTY tbh. I used the too late/hardest to love run a little more I think. Soul lady was on constant rotation for a while. 7 summers is interesting, really enjoy the lush production. Still need to take a little more time with country me thinks.

I barely notice what's going on with the forum function wise (heck I rarely log in nowadays).  Too Late is in my top 3 and I was alternating back and forth with it but idk, just a tad more attached to the title track. This year didn't really meet my expectations but making lemonade with lemons was still an option so I tried my best to have variety.

ahhhhh love to see Soul Lady so high :smitten: Yukika DELIVERED this year, I think Neon is still my fave from her tho

After Hours was really good, probs not my fave on the album either but I really like it :jamming:

Physical is good but kinda overrated, visions sounds like rave music to me and the Bad Bunny song, well I'm not into reggaeton

Soul Lady was immediate for me and made me check the album which I do not regret. Physical being overrated doesn't really affect the enjoyment I get from it. I'd actually argue that DSN is a bit more overrated than it but that's for another discussion x

alright.  yes.  YES.

safeera and visions are the right pick for those artists and they are both p high up on my lists.  glad to see someone go w visions instead of... claws or worse, detonate.

physical an after hours are great picks but not my fave from the albums.  i see you are a disco revival hater, but honestly, i get it.  nu disco is something i have to tread lightly with.  i thought the girls handled it well for the most part.

this capoxxo song,  yeah i like it.  same vibe as gupi.

and re: the m.i.a. comment.  i DO stan.  i think i even made a thread here stanning, but idk what happened, guess it just wasn't easily accessible for me for so long that it just didn't rack up a lot of listens.

I haven't really noticed people with claws or detonate as their favorite hifn track. It's not so much that I hate the nu-disco revival. The nu-disco scene just doesn't impact me very much. With the amount of people not knowing M.I.A. even released a new song I can understand the accessibility issue. Idek if she's gonna release a new album with the song included but if she does then more exposure for it will be better.

A country BETCH in your top 10 and I don't know them?! Added to my list to check out immediately.

Soul Lady, song AND album, are flawless. I only listened to that 7G album(s) once because it's so ****ing long but I'm sure your highlight was one of mine too.

Yeah After Hours is awesome. I underrate it myself honestly. Great decision to place it towards the end too, but not QUITE as the last song. Physical  Me and my bf's song.

Visions and Safaera are EVENTS. MOMENTS. Amazing top 2 :clap3:

The country fellow is releasing a double album (kinda a red flag already :rip:) early next year. And yeah it was a struggle to choose 1/49 tracks from the album since I like most of it. We're making it known that Yukika is the main K-POP girl.

Ah of course love multiple obvious tracks here :clap3:

I'd argue that there are more cinematic tracks on Kiss Land (such an underrated album) like Professional or Belong to the World, but maybe they are a bit overproduced. AH title track definitely eliminates this issue, absolutely love it and I think it even surpasses BL for me, but they are an obvious Top 2 of the album.

Maybe but the execution of those like you mentioned aren't as clean. Kissland is still janky for me but I do think it's overhated.

Nice top 10, yeah After Hours is dope even though I didn't revisit the album as a whole much.

I still think House Of Balloons is peak The Weeknd and The Morning is still my favorite song from him but After Hours is about the closest.

This a very Claw-certified top 5 so nicely done sir. Some surprises and unknowns (to me), so brb. I dig the chopper song from the previous set, though. :jamming:

Claw approved is always a good thing. The fax gang EP is also pretty good if you haven't listened to it yet.

That song is cute just not really my style I guess.

Physical and After Hours (song) are great :clap3:

Too bad People I've Been Sad didn't make it though :noparty:

Country isn't a favorite genre so that's understandable.

You're kinda right, but still the most likeable Chr*matica track for me.

I did but it's not YHLQMDLG tier, which is his swan song despite the length.

80s revivalism will always be alright in my book cuz it's a truly timeless era imo.

Himera - More Than Friends

I'm into trance, so I gave this one a try. The first track sounds like minimal trance to me. I'm more into the progressive side but I still like it. :katie2:

I like the ethereal intro in It's U, but my favorite track is Peaceseeker. Kind of gives justice to its track name.
