Rotunda Posted December 1, 2020 Author Posted December 1, 2020 (edited) So I have a few projects to finish listening to before I begin to post my Best of 2020 lists, but until then, I'd like to leave you all with a look at some of my favorite projects from 2019 Edited December 1, 2020 by Rotunda
K$Ellie Posted December 1, 2020 Posted December 1, 2020 ahhhhh Billie STOMPED last year, one of my fave debut albums ever
Rotunda Posted December 2, 2020 Author Posted December 2, 2020 UPDATE Later today I will begin my countdown by posting the two honorable mentions for my list of Albums/EPs of 2020. After that, I will begin counting down my 100 favorite songs released between Q4 of 2019 and December 1st of 2020. In order to present a diversity of artists on my 100 songs list, only 4 songs from any specific project can be placed on the countdown. For every 10 songs that I post of my Top 100 song rankings, I will reveal the name of an album/ep on my Top 10 list, with the corresponding write-up. I look forward to sharing my lists with you all, and checking in on your rankings as well. - Rotunda
Sunderland 4ever Posted December 2, 2020 Posted December 2, 2020 I like your #3 album of 2019. It was the first LP I listened to from her.
ATRL Moderator khalyan Posted December 2, 2020 ATRL Moderator Posted December 2, 2020 Maggie almost winning in 2019
Psycho Posted December 2, 2020 Posted December 2, 2020 High Road is definitely an Honorable Mention for me too Manic had some great songs but some really bad ones too
mokitsu Posted December 2, 2020 Posted December 2, 2020 i think the convo surrounding kesha in 2020 and what lead to high road is more interesting than the album itself.. that said, i really enjoyed manic
BlackoutZone Posted December 2, 2020 Posted December 2, 2020 Verite is such a rarity on these lists so I’m happy to see girlie here Absolutely hated Manic apart from Graveyard and Nightmare is literally better than the whole album High Road is a compromise between what Kesha really wants and what Kesha thinks people want from her, perhaps she should focus on one of the sides instead of unskillfully balancing on the fine line.

The next Kesha album is supposed to be folk, so I think it’ll be a lot more focused in nature. I definitely get the criticisms of both albums, they were just a big part of my head so I had to give them some shine
Into The Void Posted December 3, 2020 Posted December 3, 2020 I honestly need to listen to High Road and Manic again I don't think I've listened to either since February lol
ATRL Moderator madonnas Posted December 3, 2020 ATRL Moderator Posted December 3, 2020 I didn’t even bother with manic. Nothing against the good sis I could just tell it wasn’t for me as for high road, rare good moments but overall I felt like she didn’t really know what she wanted to do with it. Super hodgepodge
