His beginning were very... bland tumblr pop boy for me, I enjoyed it but it was never top tier anything! He definitely grows tho My taste has evolved from 5 years ago but his debut is still very solid. Heaven, Too Good, Wild etc.. are still amazing. Bloom is better than Blue Neighborhood but thats what you want with artists, you wanna grow with them. Thats why my biggest pet peeve is people who want artists to release the same album over and over and over again.

I thought of putting ICSM on my list - spoiler, I didn't - but other Kpop groups did the BL/Physical rip offs better Period. 21 hours ago, bestfiction said: Number 1 > Yes I Am both are classiques tho the TXT EP was cute, I liked Fairy Of Shampoo the most Love both, but Yes I Am kinda holds better 21 hours ago, Enigmanotta said: Say Something definitely is a major highlight of this album that I have yet to love compared to their previous efforts... I was never a huge TWICE fan so this was just as... fine as their previous efforts to me however I DID expect the album to have more highlights and less fillers f 21 hours ago, mokitsu said: idk the wonho and he's too ugly for me to listen to. but the other 4 songs are sooo good. twice really devoured that yukika reject and ride or die gives me chills everytime that breakdown comes on at the end. Well reconsider 21 hours ago, Psycho said: I just listened to Wonho's project for the first time yesterday (cute but Kai outsold) and Open Mind is a nice Tove Lo'd bop Also he's really hot huh Oh (Yes I Am) is pleasant, but the B-sides from # aren't super memorable to me honestly Say Something future Grammy winner I fear Ride Or Die is great Oh KAI definitely outsold overall, I don't even use the mini much, but the title was super catchy so it find its way here 21 hours ago, ikiru said: Can't You See Me the Eternity mini album is a masterpiece, TXT really did THAT this year Absolutely kings of 2020 with 2 great minis 21 hours ago, Hug said: CYSM excellent absolutely. ? Say Something also one of the best on Eyes Wide Open (and same @ me not expecting them to touch the genre, but they did a lot of things I didn't expect with that album. Was very pleasantly surprised. ?) I listened to Wonho's music earlier in the year, and I remember thinking it was good but then never revisiting. Something to add to a to-do list I suppose. Yeah it didn't make much noise, but it's really nice 21 hours ago, K$Ellie said: CYSM? is good but my least favorite on the mini but then again the whole project is flawless, happy that the b-side is higher Say Something and Oh (Yes I Am) 10/10s easily, some of their best bsides Open Mind and Ride Or Die are v cute I don't know what's my least fave, cause as you've said the mini is flawless, but CYSM knocks (maybe I have bias for titles ) 18 hours ago, luckystrike said: Say Something absolute collapse Oh (Yes I Am) also very cute song The Say Something acclaim whew, truly a blessed title of the song 17 hours ago, 1998tweety said: Yasss Wonho! Pan king served so hard but I guess we should've expected it huh? Monsta X's new song Love Killa is a vibe too; even though I miss Wonho in the group I guess it all turned out okay cause we're getting double the bops. Kai served too no surprise there. CYSM is nice...she isn't my fav from the EP (Fairy Shampoo is excellent and one of my favs from the whole year), but it's still a bop. I checked up some of Monsta X stuff this year, but nothing really caught my attention as much as mr Wonho! Well the universal FOS stanning is something I have to agree with so stay perched for next updates 13 hours ago, Legend E said: say something is actually good oh yes i am is literally terrible idk the others thankfully, my ears won Taste buds LOST cause they will never taste the excellence of these kpop gems.. 12 hours ago, Tom Vercetti said: Say Something getting all the praise. Yeah that's fair, Troye definitely improves with every releasing while staying true to his style and I appreciate that Anti K-poppers can exhale, we are back to English music today
BlackoutZone Posted December 8, 2020 Author Posted December 8, 2020 Those who were active in Chromatica thread upon the leak release know damn well how obsessed I was with this scoring nearly 300 plays in a few days. While it obviously let to inevitable overplaying and I do not visit the song much anymore it definitely remains my favorite from Gaga's rather disappointing album. I'm not even waiting for the infamous Haus Labs version with that cheap overused sample, cause final is absolutely perfect. Never expected a live cover to make it to my Best Of, but here we are. Miley absolutely floored me with her interpretation of the Debbie Harry classic. It's really hard to touch such iconic and difficult song, perform it so differently and succeed exceeding expectations, congrats Miley. I've been having hard time deciding which track from Róisín' Machine should take this spot, but disco fueled, sensual romantic anthem Murphy's Law remains my favorite Róisín track this year. When Love Not Loving You initially came out I was definitely a bit underwhelmed considering Foxes' flawless past lead singles, but over time it kept growing and aging really well. The following pre-release tracks being a bit boring definitely helped me to appreciate this gem more. Megan truly had a great 2020 scoring lots of acclaim and success for her projects. I noticed that WAP and Savage (Remix) definitely dominate ATRL's best ofs as well as critics YE lists and while I totally like both of these tracks the one collab that mostly caught me this year is heavily overlooked Fkn Around. Megan riding this funky beat better than DaBaby could have ever wish his Levitating verse could sound like.
ATRL Moderator khalyan Posted December 8, 2020 ATRL Moderator Posted December 8, 2020 Wow at everything slaying on this update Babylon is one of Gaga's best on Chromatica. I loved how much Miley ended up slaying with that Blondie cover. Foxes gave us a cute non-offensive pop song for some easy listening and I live for it. And Murphy's Law is truly dance disco excellence
bestfiction Posted December 8, 2020 Posted December 8, 2020 Babylon is deffo the best song from Chromatica Miley's cover was a bit shouty compared to the original but I guess it's her interpretation x Murphy's Law really love it, and the whole sentiment of the song is just so amazing. "I feel my story's still untold but I'll make my own happy ending" is honestly my motto now
Enigmanotta Posted December 8, 2020 Posted December 8, 2020 Babylon, Heart Of Glass, Murphy's Law Besides Friends In The Corner, I'm really not a fan of the latest Foxes singles, and this one is probably my least favourite...
mokitsu Posted December 8, 2020 Posted December 8, 2020 wait bc Fkn around is a bop i didnt know existed heart of glass is a biT overrated imo, i dont think the shouty version works. the others are great! thanks jesus ware for putting me on Murphys law
1998tweety Posted December 8, 2020 Posted December 8, 2020 Spill on Babylon, I thought Fadga was losing her touch but she proved me wrong there. I've heard a lot of good things about Roisin but I still haven't gotten the chance to check her out, expecting excellence
ATRL Moderator madonnas Posted December 8, 2020 ATRL Moderator Posted December 8, 2020 yeah the final version of babylon is better than the demo. it has that cheesy house sax that i luv. this update is full of all good songs. miley's cover is probably better than... 80% of the album in actuality. oops! the megan collab was a bop, kinda wish she had at least one song like it on her debut. you know an album's gonna be a classic when you dont know what song to pick from it! im glad you went with murphy's law though. and re: your last comment. i will stand by this... i can't stop me > la di da
Post Malone Posted December 8, 2020 Posted December 8, 2020 Babylon this low gksipdh;d but spill the album version >>> the haus rats one
SLIME Posted December 8, 2020 Posted December 8, 2020 Babylon is probably her best song since ARTPOP or BTW to me. I don't know if others feel this way Indeed hard to choose a pick from R. Machine. I don't think I've heard that Meg song
Psycho Posted December 8, 2020 Posted December 8, 2020 (edited) Babylon best song indeed and agreed, the final version > Haus Labs Demo Heart of Glass great cover Murphy's Law is the only sing I heard from her but it was a bop I fear Love Not Loving You severe serve Edited December 8, 2020 by Psycho
austinsuxx Posted December 8, 2020 Posted December 8, 2020 tea Babylon album > that overrated haus labs version
TheWayWeWere Posted December 8, 2020 Posted December 8, 2020 Babylon is a banger Love Not Loving You I'm still waiting for album tho Murphy's Law
Bubble Tea Posted December 8, 2020 Posted December 8, 2020 Your graphics are so cute. Nice work. I have the same prob with "Babylon" - overplayed it and now so over it lol. In other world it would be in my own top 25 but alas, it is not.
luckystrike Posted December 8, 2020 Posted December 8, 2020 Babylon one of the best on that aged alberm also never got around to checking out Roisin, will do someday. Foxes making it tho not my fave song by her but I definitely bopped to it when it came out
ATRL Moderator Legend E Posted December 9, 2020 ATRL Moderator Posted December 9, 2020 Quote Taste buds LOST cause they will never taste the excellence of these kpop gems.. kpop songs that all sound the same is different than 'gems' babylon and love not loving you are cute. heart of glass is also good but i prefer zombie.
Ewan Chaos Posted December 9, 2020 Posted December 9, 2020 sksks the curse of overplaying songs. Babylon is so good. Murphy's Law is a great Roisin pick. And Love Not Loving You is, of course, pretty flawless too! Screaming at you basically dragging her (and the song lowkey) in your write-up tho. Friends in the Corner is pretty good! And Hollywood is fun for a dramatic moment! Miley's Heart of Glass cover... I honestly can't get into it. Probably because I kinda have always hated Miley's voice and the way she sings the beginning is "WHATA LAAAAAAAAUVVVVVV AND IT WAS A GAS!!!!" Please stop screaming.
Sunderland 4ever Posted December 9, 2020 Posted December 9, 2020 Murphy's Law was a cool track. Probably one of the few I actually liked from the record.
