I woke up at 5:40 AM for evermore hoping for folklore 2.0 and now I'm super tired and stuck with a boring album nowhere near folklore's level

But folklore was boring too :fan:

Fairy of Shampoo in the Top 10, we love to see it! :heart2:

LA DI DA and Psycho :jonny5: Probably two of the few good songs released by K-Pop girl groups this year! :celestial5:

GGs had kinda weak start in early 2020, but then it went really well in Q3/Q4

looks like I need to get into Kpop :duca: the basics like bts and blackpink scare me off

Don't let the stans see this but BTS and BLACKPINK are ****ing trash  no wonder so many people don't want to get into kpop if these groups promote the genre

Yes!!

I knew you wouldn't disappoint. Only a true music FAN will give JoJo her due - Good to Know was that bitch this year

Ahh :clap3: It's literally her best album (along with Agape if we count it)

I didn't expect Pit-A-Pet to make an appearance out of all the SOUL LADY songs! I'll be waiting to see if my favourite one made its way onto the 5 remaining spots...

good update.  pitapet is not my favorite but it is good so ill just ccept it, and yes, as you know, i do stan la di da.

the april song was the better track they released this year, has a good chorus. not their best though!

PAP was sort of the most instant track from the moment I've heard the sampler, very addictive bop, but YUKIKA has one more entry

Psycho, Lalalilala, La Di Da in the top 10 :jonny5: Seems about right. Also Fairy of Shampoo and Pit-A-Pet made it too, only the best b-sides

Talent only, no fads allowed :clap3:

Spill, top 5 is honestly same level as the rest of top 10, only the top tier kpop

Please Don't Touch + Comeback :eddie: Come Over and Susie Save Your Love are lovely :smitten: I've seen Susie on plenty of lists and I feel like it's generally a fan favorite so yeah, I'd say we agree!

Yup! I'm really glad AT least this one song is well received

I don't know how I feel about recent sound shift from Aly & AJ after serving synthpop excellence for past few years, but if Attack of Panic is their last release in the genre they really ended it with a bang!

I don't claim Joan of Arc, I don't care what everybody says but I hate this song

First Duallah entry, certainly of multiple :fan: Everyone knows I'm a huge CFN enthusiast especially if we judge the project as a full album of stand alone remixes instead of the DJ Mix curated by The Blessed Madonna which only works when listened in full at once. Love Again remix is an undeniable stand out of the project, extending the track to 5:32 allows it to blossom into full synthy disco madness. As much as I love the original version I was never too fond of the Your Woman sample. Horse Meat Disco Remix removes it therefore elevating the song to perfection.

Just like many other artists in 2020 Miley jumped on the retro trend and delivered one of her best songs and an absolute stand out of her great new album Plastic Hearts.

jP0g6Ww.jpg

Power is her best single in a very long time. When Flux dropped I knew she still has that in her, it was the first song that gave me a solid flashback to her golden Halcyon days, but it was just a ballad and good old Ellie had her dynamic side too. Power brings it back perfectly. Subtle Be the One sample is also a very nice touch for my Dua stanning ass!

It took me a solid while to get the greatness of this track. It felt a bit lost on the album to me and the other, more aggressive stand outs overshadowed it, but after months the quarantine unfolded other side of Miss Anthropocene for me and Delete Forever became a highlight.

Attack of Panic a collapse :clap3:
That Love Again remix slaps :katie2:
Midnight Sky too low methinks :gaycat6:
Power amazing and acclaimed:WAP:
Delete Forever cute

Oh wow all of these made my list in some way :clap3:

yeah what was with a&j's new single? hope its just one cute little sing in a different style because they finally evolved from carly synthpop to something different.  we need more attack of panics and joan of arcs first!!!

delete forever is prob the best single pick from the album but idk, i prefer idoru and darkseid

The sample on Love Again is what MAKES the sing for me :shakeno:

Power and MS :clap3:

Posted

I love the original Love Again (haven’t heard this remix)

Midnight Sky is amazing.

Delete Forever is my least fave from MA but maybe it could’ve grown on me but I gave up after around the 10th listen

Posted

Attack of Panic :date: Slow Dancing is good though!! Just a lot more chill than Ten Years/Sanctuary. Not liking Joan of Arc??? C'mon now

Power :smitten: Midnight Sky :worship: Oop at Dua's first entry being #24

Posted

I checked Attack Of Panic. I like it when she says "Panic inside of me, down x5".

Posted

Miley has given one of the best releases of her career this year

Posted

Midnight Sky and Delete are my favorites here. I don’t remember what all the CFN remixes sound like, but like that there’s lots to sample around from

Posted

Attack of Panic is such a grower! Didn't liked it at first, but it stuck in my head for a while :jonny5:

I love original Love Again more :fan:

Midnight Sky :jonny:

Power :clap3: Ellie getting acclaim she deserves

Delete Forever :smitten2: one of my favorite Grimes songs EVER

Posted

Power + Attack Of Panic :heart2:

Posted

The Horse Meat Disco remix getting some love AHH :jonny5: Honestly it's CFN top tier remix, hell even it kinda outsold the OG for me

Attack of Panic, Power, Midnight Sky, Delete Forever getting the acclaim we love to see it :clap3:

Posted

All of these are amazing songs! The Horse Meat Disco Remix is pure perfection, it almost topped Physical as my favourite song of hers this year. :gaycat6:

Posted

Mago :clap3:

La di da :clap3: untouchable deserves tho
