Tuesday Top 40 Update
Missing Data: Apple Music, HMV, Spotify and YouTube (all for Monday)

Singles

1 Ariana Grande - positions (19.9k)
2 Internet Money & Gunna feat. Don Toliver & NAV - Lemonade (16.6k)
3 Little Mix - Sweet Melody (15.4k)
4 Miley Cyrus - Midnight Sky (15.2k)
5 Wes Nelson & Hardy Caprio - See Nobody (14.4k)

Miley falling to #4 at this rate it'll end up at #5/6 so no new peak :weeps:

I heard there's a rule that they cut the points in half at some point, when is that affecting Midnight Sky?

Quote

ACR takes effect after more than nine weeks on the chartand three consecutive weeks of decline below the market streaming rate of change. The standard chart ratio to calculate chart 'sales' remains 100:1 for premium and 600:1 for ad-funded services. ACR is set at 200:1 (premium) and 1200:1 (ad-funded).

Ariana flopping so hard, giving me Anti tease in the UK. So happy for both Kylie and Little Mix! Let's just hope, right now, that Sweet Melody actually charts at #3 :duca: Confetti (the title track) being so high too! Next single confirmed :siptea:

What's Ari's flop? She is dropping #1 - #3 just like Sweetener.

It's their way to stop the chart being completely static cause of streaming, and give other songs a possibility to chart high.

So when do you think it applies to MS?

She would need to drop in streams 3 weeks in a row, and also be either charting for 10 weeks+ or be over 3 years old. It's charted for 12 weeks (8 top 10) but I think she's rising on streaming this week thanks to the remix? If so should be safe until album boost helps her again :swan:

Yes, she is charting at #3, but with very poor sales given her status! And I love her and positions!

Sales are poor all around cause of lockdown. Being ahead of Sam Smith on both week 1 and 2 is impressive.

Kylie and the Little Mix are selling 40k copies! Both Sam and Ariana didn't do very well on their first weeks, considering who they are! Again, I'm not talking about chart positions!
