I wonder if Britney's ST is close, it was certified 4xP one month after it was released.

it didn't sell as much as its predecessors..but still wonder how much it really sold. It would be really odd if it sold 4m in a month but 400k in 10+ years or is that not how it works?

Britney was released in November 2001, it debuted with 745k and it sold 3.3 million by the end of February 2002 https://www.billboard.com/articles/news/76650/britney-summer-tour-bows-in-vegas and 4.4 million as of March 2015 https://www.billboard.com/articles/columns/chart-beat/6509510/ask-billboard-britney-spearss-career-sales  Don't know how much it sold by now including streaming, probably not so much since it's one of Britney's weakest streaming and singles selling albums but I would say it's 5x Platinum, maybe close to 6x Platinum.

It’s definitely above 5x platinum when you take club sales into account but I think it’ll struggle to even go 6x platinum  it’s her weakest album on Spotify and in terms of digital downloads as well I think... it deserves MUCH better though. In The Zone on the other hand will keep selling thanks to Toxic

Basically, it's at ~9.35M (probably more like 9.5M now) using Billboard's method of combining all units from The Fame Monster (sans pure sales of the The Fame Monster standalone) with The Fame. I explained it in some details here:

Correct, but it gets messy and tangled because some charting organizations lump all sales/streams of The Fame Monster (Deluxe) in with The Fame while others like the RIAA completely separate them, so honestly it's easy to bend the stats for/against her depending how you wanna use them and both cases could technically be right.
