After almost getting himself eliminated in round one for a poor challenge score, Gateau rallied and flipped the vote against Psycho. Following this, he never let himself falter in challenges again. Upon finding himself in the merge minority, he was forced to rebel with immunity wins, idol plays, and constantly found himself up against a wall. His resilience landed him in the final three despite the odds. Tripped up by his brash and controversial tongue, however, Gateau ended up losing the season to dussymob by a single jury vote.
