I was blasting that album on my summer vacation myself, good choice CHVRCHES - Leave a Trace It's a bop, wouldn't say that it's a summer song though Demi Lovato - Cool for the Summer She sounds so grating in the chorus, and this kind of songs doesn't really fit her but it does fit the theme so I guess here's that? Dua Lipa - Hotter Than Hell I could see playing it on a hot summer day, not to mention that it's a bop Inna™ - Fool Me Queen of generic europop summer bops, I can respect the choice x Katharine McPhee - Open Toes You know, I generally appreciate gimmicky troll entries on games like this but when they are actually funny Katy Perry - California Gurls Stanned this hard in 2010-2011, she's such a Summer Queen Lorde - Green Light I don't think it's a summery bop but I do associate this song with the Summer + it's from the AOTD so x Madonna - Holiday Queen of Pop snapped Maggie Rogers - Love You for a Long Time Oh , it's cute, I feel that some kewl artsy high school kids would make this their summer jam ROSALÍA - Aute Cuture Not exceclty my favorite song from Miss Rosalia but it's a cute bop ROSALÍA - Con Altura NOW we are talking Sofía Reyes - R.I.P. Apink - Dumhdurum This is a pure bop, I can imagine myself driving with the windows down listening to this, so great job! Childish Gambino - Summertime Magic Love this. Let me save it to my playlist. DJ Jazzy Jeff & The Fresh Prince - Summertime The epitome of a 90s summer jam Dua Lipa - Levitating I mean… we all know the gays stan this rn Eleni Foureira - Fuego I think this is cute, but it’s not really my cup of tea tbh (G)I-DLE - Senorita It’s a no from me, sorry. Geri Halliwell - Mi chico latino I feel like this is pretty middle of the road for this round HAIM - Summer Girl I really like this, it’s a lot mellower than most of the other songs here, but that doesn’t make it any less great. Katy Perry - Teenage Dream A summer classic. I like it better than CG because it’s less in your face about it. CG is early summer, TD is late summer. Lana Del Rey - Doin' Time She really created a masterpiece with this cover huh Megan thee Stallion - Hot Girl Summer I kinda hated this at the beginning, but by the end I found myself bopping. Still cackle that it ended Nicki’s yearly top ten streak tho Rina Sawayama - XS One of my faves from the new album! Taylor Swift - Cruel Summer I considered sending this song (along with the half of the other submissions), love this bop Tinashe - Hopscotch Whew, as if it was possible to pick a fave from SFY, this one is up there for me, definitely one of the most summery songs submitted. But you are all entitled to rank however you want. Your best bet would just be to send good songs that you also know fit the theme well at the same time (so there will be no confusion/offenses). I will try to approve songs that fit the theme more, but I can't guarantee it. But, if you send something that I know is totally off base for the theme, I will reject it.
