I think it's more like
...Baby One More Time - 14x Platinum
Oops!...I Did It Again - 11x Platinum
Britney - 5x Platinum
In The Zone - 4x Platinum
Greatest Hits: My Prerogative - 1x Platinum
Blackout - Platinum
Circus - 2x Platinum
The Singles Collection - Gold
Femme Fatale - Platinum
Britney Jean - Gold

I'll take 40x Platinum, though I think MJD is greatly underestimating OIDIA's and Britney's Columbia House sales just because they weren't constantly advertised.

Circus should only be a year or two from 3x Platinum and FF only two or three from 2x Platinum. If Glory got two more videos, I could see it hitting Gold eventually, too.

I think MJD is underestimating OIDIA too, but not by that much. I doubt it actually hit the 11 million mark as it was "only" certified 10x Platinum in 2005 and catalog sales are non-existent. OIDIA should be anywhere between 10.6-10.9 million in the U.S. :gaycat3:

I would agree with that logic if her team wasn't purposefully holding off on certain certifications for the sake of money (which isn't a shock since her label was folding). Britney was eligible for 5x Platinum at the time and In The Zone was eligible for 3x Platinum. While it is highly possible that OIDIA isn't eligible for 12x P, I wouldn't rule it out completely until they update all of her other certs to be current.

True, her team is a disgrace when it comes to certifications (just look at In The Zone), but in this case we should be conservative just to be safe, then we can be pleasantly surprised one day (hopefully!).

By the way, Britney was featured twice on the "Best Selling Albums Of All Time" book. No clue how they got these numbers though.

Britney also said BOMT is 10 years old, so we all know she's not very good with numbers. :gaycat5: 100 million albums is label inflation and often confused with record sales (albums + singles + DVDs). Britney has sold around or close to 80 million albums worldwide, which would make her the 6th or 7th best selling female of all time (albums-wise).

sjdjdjjdr I forgot about it , she does this everytime  :ahh:but I prefer believing Britney and her label , 100m sounds cool :gaycat1:
