I was going with the assumption that 35% of Britney's streams come from the U.S. and that "other services" (i.e. Apple Music, Amazon, Pandora, etc.) are about 30% of her Spotify+Youtube total. Any thoughts? @Anticipating?

Any thoughts? @Anticipating? Omg I'm glad you're bringing this up. About two weeks ago, I made a list of her her RIAA certifications should look like. 35% is a good estimate for audio streams, however, I'd say 25% of her YouTube views come from the US. Thanks to YouTube Insights, we know the percentage ranges between 23-27%. "Toxic" has 343,554,139 streams on Spotify as of October 10. We can estimate 35% of that total comes from the US (120,243,948). We can't ignore the existence of Apple Music, Tidal, Deezer, Google Play Music, etc. In fact, Apple Music is bigger than Spotify in the US. Quote As of the report from last year, Spotify had 132 million of the 212 million streaming users in the World. The new document tells us that while Spotify increased its user count to 157 million, there is now 272 million streaming users in total. It highlights in good part the fastest increase of Apple Music lately. Using ChartMasters' comprehensive streaming method (272/157* Spotify streams), we get a total of 208,320,725 audio streams in the US. On YouTube, the song has 410,544,290 views. Around 25% of Britney's views come from the US, so we can apply that ratio here as well, which gives us 102,636,072 video streams. 2,400,000 paid downloads + 1,388,804 audio units + 684,240 video units = 4,473,000 units. 1. Scream & Shout - 5,421,998 (5x Platinum) 2. Womanizer - 4,605,669 (4x Platinum) 3. Toxic - 4,473,000 (4x Platinum) 4. ...Baby One More Time - 3,925,649 (3x Platinum) 5. I recently found out that RIAA combines physical and digital sales for singles now, which is why Mariah just got a bunch of huge certifications. BOMT will get to 4x Platinum in no time if it hasn't gotten there already!
