Clueless, what I loved was your storytelling approach here and how you related everything back to Lolo’s experiences that she described in the album. That was absolutely awesome. For me, what I think this needed more of was conciseness. You rushed out the end, compared to your stronger beginning. Either way, it was an overall great job! The story starts out strong and then grows a little tiresome towards the end where it reads like you’re hoping the end is near. You seem less interested toward the end. And, guess what? I agree with you. The album drags on towards the end. That was my main takeaway from my first listen. I think you could have incorporated that in a way that made the review stronger and not weaker. Aside from that, I think you did a great job of describing sound, themes, and aesthetics while still providing your personal input. Good luck! While Clue had a lot of research and facts to back up his opinions, your statements are a bit more general. There are some decent comparisons to help the reader align their thoughts (like to Halsey or Lana), but I would have loved some more insight into Lolo herself and the production that went into this album. I think you did a really good job describing various aspects of the songs and tying together the overall themes of the album. There were some songs (for example Moi) that could have used more detail and opinion - you set the scene well, but you could have expressed just a bit more to help us see your particular perspective on why you gave a certain rating. I liked that you mentioned the sound of the album from the start as it set an immediate tone as to what we can expect from Lolo.
