OSD was pretty local comparing to OTR. Why are you trying to make a case when you don't even have a point?

Isn’t drake supposed to come out with a new era or was it just the two songs and helping Chris go top 10 again???

come through drake/Ed new Ariana Adele but I also want lil nas to replace himself with a new song off his EP if it’s good.

black eyed peas are shaking

fergie alone is pissed

It's not a new era lol. Them two songs were just random songs and he only released them to celebrate the Raptors winning

The absolute fumes in here anytime it's not a basic pop girl dominating

Who's comparing One Sweet Day and Old Town Road chart wise?

My comment was aimed at their quality.

Old Town Road's Spotify stats as of Saturday:

Argentina: #73 - #128

Bolivia: #38 - #131

Brazil: #22 - 34

Chile: #160

Colombia: #64

Costa Rica: #13 - #47

Dominican Republic: #45 - #181

El Salvador: #20 - #76

Guatemala: #35 - #111

Honduras: #23 - #76

Mexico: #16 - #116

Nicaragua: #11

Panama: #53 - #159

Paraguay: #20 - #50

Peru: #171

Spain: #66 - #126

Uruguay: #99

I do doubt the whole world likes the song and putting together those countries' whole population you would get more people than in the US.

They're part of the world, aren't they? :biblio:

That's what we're discussing.

YouTube gets a huge amount of views from those countries.

Streaming is the only form of consumption they have.

Anyway, I do not really bother if this song ends up breaking Despacito's record.

It'll hurt because of Mariah.

I dont get the obsession with atrl dragging American centric songs for not being global. Nothing is more American than a HipHop and Country crossover.

We never question the big European or Asian smash hits.

Even if you remove it from the list, the song isn't really going anywhere in the other countries.

Yeah...why would anyone expect a damn Rap/Country song to do well globally in the first place (even though it has surprisingly) :skull:

The desperation to discredit

uhm it's really hard for not latin songs to do anything in Latin America. if we consider this I think OTR did great there

it's not like Mariah would do numbers on their Spotify, even if she was still popular.

The fumes in this thread. :skull:

Anyway, I don’t see anyone who could dethrone this song “surprise releasing” soon. OTR is going to run its course. It’ll break the record.

Maybe because they don't speak English? :skull:

It takes a whole lot for non latin music to fly up the charts in Latin countries.

This isn't new or surprising.

Genuinely it'd be actually kind of sad if it broke the record, Mariah's, not that awful other song. There is no effort, no craftsmanship in the song at all. Literally created by a ****ing troll on twitter :bibliahh: And you know that **** comes on ATRL and sees us fuming too :bibliahh:

I'd like to see you write an equally catchy song without any music craftsmanship skills which I assume you don't have (or even need) and top charts all over the world  :cm:
