Lets talk about NOW.

Cancelling shows, PRESS is flopping,  Money didn't reach top 10. Looks like she's declining

Are you dumb?

You keep comparing Nicki's "accomplishments" to Cardi's. Lemme do the same. :)

She cancelled very few and did it in advance unlike your fave. She's been selling out gigs, though, without them being even mentioned by her or promoted in anyway. Your have had to "postpone" the US tour and now she's out of the COLLAB tour. :bibliahh:

Money didn't reach top 10, but served insane longevity and will be 4x Platinum certified soon (it's eligible). Declining? We'll see. Press just debuted at #16 with ZERO promo. Let's see its certification after it's said and done. I swear you are getting brave over that Nicki's top 10, which TANKED compared to Money. It's only 1x Platinum and dead. :bibliahh: Compare it to 4x and if you still think top 10 is more important... Delusion is real. :toofunny2:

Girl not you including Please me when it's not a solo from her. If that's the case Nicki had more than 2+ in the top ten during that era. So what are you trying to point out? And this is only the beginning of Cardi's downfall. Money, no top ten, press no top ten, it's looks like a domino effect to me.

Please Me is Cardi's song and she is credited as a lead.

I'm pointing out the peaks of each single from their 2nd albums, sweaty.

Nicki had more flops and if Press peaking in the top 20 is consider a flop, then wtf is a song that peaked at 51 & 48?  :bibliahh:

Probably a delusion. How predictable of that user. :toofunny2:

I'm ready for Bodak to be certified. Iggy should fight and get Fancy certified too! :cm:

Both were HUGE. Comparing is pointless nowadays. Streaming changed the charts it’s like a new era and it’s still growing. We get a new record broken like every day.

Keep thinking that while you're making more excuses for your fav.

"9th year vs someone who just got hot" as if we don't have artists like Drake, Rihanna, And Gaga who are all thriving in streaming.

Are they female rappers? Has any other female rapper been around for 9 years in recent years?  Ok, until then... we cant make the comparison.

Lol @ fav...I only own ONE Nicki album.  I just work in the industry, understand how timing and environmental factors play into success.  I debate music facts and figures on a daily basis + get paid for it.  So that’s the ONLY reason why I turn up in these Nicki/Cardi threads.  Offering a different perspective to ATRLs limited viewpoints.  If y’all gonna be quoting facts and figures, look at the WHOLE picture. Lol.

For someone who doesn’t wanna claim Nicki you sure do make plenty of excuses for her :celestial5:

What's amazing about this is that Bodak Yellow is pure rap - there's nothing pop about it.

I have to agree. Excuse after excuse after excuse. :skull:

And don't bring that top 10 narrative again of Bodak being Cardi's last solo hit. If you are still so dare to compare Chun-Li's top 10 to Money's top 13... Please. :cm:

and with a rap song, not a pop song.

Nicki's most successful rap song is like 2x plat or something.

All rap Stats are like that even in today’s climate if you really think about it. Which Is why it’s stupid af that nicki fans & Cardi fans won’t stfu.

Yall want female rap to thrive but keep putting them against each other every chance you get.

YOU really thought you did something by bringing up the state of rap in 2012 when Nicki released a Euro-POP album with POP SINGLES  :lmao:

Ok then take out Starships, VVV, and PTA and my point still stands with the other 5 singles lmao

Meanwhile, TRAP is the biggest genre right now and Cardi’s TRAP singles still can’t crack the top 10. I guess their decline really must be on par then, huh?
