H100: Old Town Road 8x #1, Bad Guy #3, Talk #5, SBP #10

Summer hits are looking like:

Old Town Road

I Don’t Care

Bad Guy

Sucker

Talk

These 5 all will be around until at least July. Sucker will prob be out first since it’s already peaked. The other 4 could last until as far as August. So there’s like half of our likely top summer hits.

Sunflower & Wow are on their way out.

I don’t see Dancing With a Stranger or SBP being top 10 too much longer.

Other likely candidates:

Suge

Truth Hurts

If I Can’t Have You

Hey Look Ma, I Made It

Con Calma

Nightmare

I see many of those going top 10 in June/July (IICHY returning).

Oh yeah, that one is still behind. My bad, I don't look at the BB200 anymore tbh.

That's bizarre they'd update the Hot 100 and not the BB200.

https://www.billboard.com/articles/columns/chart-beat/8513166/tyler-the-creator-igor-number-1-billboard-200-albums-chart

Quote

Tyler, the Creator nabs his first No. 1 album on the Billboard 200 chart, as Igordebuts atop the list dated June 1. The set starts with just under 165,000 equivalent album units earned in the week ending May 23, according to Nielsen Music -- the second-biggest week of 2019 for a hip-hop album. Of that sum, 74,000 were in album sales. Igor is Tyler, the Creator’s fifth studio effort and was released via Columbia Records on May 17.

DJ Khaled’s Father of Asahd debuts at No. 2 on the new Billboard 200 chart, scoring the artist his eighth top 10 effort. The star-filled set launches with 137,000 equivalent album units, of which 35,000 were in album sales, 7,000 in TEA units and 95,000 in SEA units. The latter sum equates to 123.2 million on-demand audio streams for the album’s tunes in its first week – which also makes the set the most-streamed album of the week.

The National achieves its fourth top 10 album, as I Am Easy to Find arrives at No. 5 with 40,000 equivalent album units. (All four of the rock band’s top 10 albums have also debuted in the top five.) The new set’s first week was led by album sales (33,000), with a significant chunk of that figure derived from a concert ticket/album sale redemption offer for the act’s tour that started in April.

Closing out the new top 10 is Megan Thee Stallion, who debuts at No. 10 with Fever. The buzzed-about Houston rapper’s album bows with 28,000 equivalent album units earned, mostly driven by streams of the set – it tallied 24,000 in SEA units. That figure translates to 30.6 million on-demand audio streams for the album’s songs in its first week.

Calm down. I'm a Mariah fan... just looking back at the charts. Don't be so insecure.

Honey I'm as calm as a cucumber. I typed three words, they weren't curses, and they weren't in caps. Stop projecting.

Idk...this just doesnt seem like a big hit to me

It doesnt even have the same novelty effect as All About That Bass

We shall see

But it didn't.

I'm actually a big fan of Mariah Carey. But, We Belong Together was a better and bigger song than OSD. Given its 16-week run on the BB Airplay Chart, with several weeks OVER 200 million impressions, I think WBT is probably the biggest Airplay Song of all-time.  WBT placed and dominated on so many formats at one time that there's no comparison to any other song.

Remember, Don't Speak and Iris set the records when Radio songs only included 5 formats.  Blurred Lines and Happy had higher peaks, but only briefly and with SIGNIFICANTLY less longevity than WBT.  We Found Love, High Hopes, and Girls Like You, had longevity, but not anywhere near WBT's audience (especially HH and GLY).

UF is probably the 2nd biggest Airplay song of all time, as it had impressive longevity and peaked at almost 190 million in audience at its peak.  And, given its sales and excellent streaming (at that time), it really takes the #1 crown overall of all time.  And, UF is probably 1.3 Diamond eligible, which would put it ahead of every other certified song.

Of note: UF is not my favorite song of even 2015.  I just give credit where credit is due.
