I'm not a fan of whispering but this is a great fit, Kudos! Element: Alena - 9.0 - Your strongest entry of the season so far! Survivor is shaking. She demonstrates that she is cancelling her lover and carries a bit of attitude in the process. The only thing holding this back is that the examples could have been a little more unique and expanded upon instead of just “he left me in pieces”... I want to know WHY! Speezy: Alena - 10: This song is match very well about toxicity of a relationship. It mentions how she isn’t wasting anymore time and how the relationship made her feel in pieces. GJ Pressure : Alena 9.5/10 - I always felt the emotion in this song! it surely fits the theme, you can hear it in her voice and the song is a really bop aswell. Invisibility - Madonna Sorry Spoiler .Yvess: Invisibility - Madonna - 10: WE LOVE A MULTILINGUAL QUEEN! I love this track and its message. What sets this apart to most of the breakup entries here is that Madge is very firm in cancelling that man. Great choice! Element: Invisibility - 9.0 - Very good entry! Madonna spends the entire song telling him to shut up and go away basically. This is not on the same emotional level as the best entries this round, but it is a very effective choice. Speezy: Invisibility - 9: Almost nails it. It talks about how shes not putting up with his talk anymore and shes tired of excuses. Then she speaks a couple other languages to make sure that he knows that she is DONE. Pressure : Invisibilty 10/10 - This def fits the theme, I always found the lyrics really well done, turn into a dance track! very amazing choice, underrated too! fits the theme and is an amazing track. Others may disagree but I see real fire in this. lhdang2000 - Adele Rumor Has It Spoiler .Yvess: lhdang2000 – Adele - 7.5: This is a good choice than your 1st choice. I love how confident she is that his ex still wants her, I just needed to see more of her expressing she's over him in the lyrics though coz this song maybe interpreted in another way, like there's still a tinge of hope for them to be reunited. Nevertheless.it is still a good entry overall. Element: lhdang2000 - 5.5 - I’m incredibly torn on this submission. On one hand, she definitely spends time dragging him and saying he has made questionable romantic choices. She maligns his character a bit with her sarcasm, but then backtracks a bit (Just 'cause I said it, don't mean that I meant it). The problem is that I’m left questioning whether she actually wants another chance with this guy? It almost sounds like they’re fooling around still? (Like when we creep out when she ain't around) And the lyrics are more focused on ANOTHER relationship going wrong versus their own relationship problems. But then the ending makes it seem like she’s got another man instead… ugh IDK lhdang. Speezy: lhdang2000 – 6: So he is contemplating leaving a girl for Adele and now Adele is hearing about it. It does mentions the toxicity/bad traits of him, so points for that . But instead of letting go theme there is a "slight connection" theme lingering Pressure : Ihdang2000 8/10 - checking out the lyrics, I actually love the words, fits the theme, well done Loyalty - Christina Aguilera Walk Away Spoiler Yvess: Loyalty - Christina Aguilera - 6: Hmmmm, kudos for meeting the other requirement of this round - you made us know and understand that she's in a toxic relationship but that's all. This is more like she's stuck in a toxic relationship and can't walk away/leave - which is the other requirement of this round. She knows she must leave but maybe the D is so good she can't make up her mind. The song is good but it feels flat compared to other entries since the other element of the theme is missing. Element: Loyalty - 7.0 - Some of the lyrics in this are so beautiful and dramatic! I think that she outlines how bad her lover is, but she doesn’t push it to the next level and fully cancel him. If this song ended with her finally making up her mind and walking away forever, then it would score much higher for me. She seems trapped and not ready to make the decision. Speezy: Loyalty – 6: Sis…”I keep goin' right back to the one thing that I need to walk away from, yeah” That entire line cost you some coins . Basically this song talks about walking away from the toxicity then her coming back again. It hits the toxicity BUT she kept going back Pressure : Loyalty 9/10 - I can really hear her emotinal and heart break in her voice, this is such a great choice. Psycho - Lady Gaga Telephone Spoiler Yvess: Psycho - Lady Gaga - 6: This is a fun song to sing to your man or to any fling that you're having some issues with. My problem here is that it gives me the vibes that she's not yet completely over with the man, she's more like she wants to enjoy her "ME! Time" and she's just punishing her man for taking her for granted in the past. Nothing in the lyrics showed a strong affirmation that she is cancelling this man. Element: Psycho - 6.5 - I definitely put this in the same category as “I’m Out” in that Gaga and Bey are out having fun and don’t want to be bothered. The main difference between this and Ciara, though, is that this song clearly outlines how annoying the guy is and how they do NOT want his calls at all. It is not as focused on celebration, which was Ciara’s drawback. Overall, it’s an okay entry. They could have done more to really cancel him. Speezy: Psycho - 4.5: Run these entries through Sabbath. Definitely doesn’t touch on topic. It seems like she is just out enjoying her self and don’t want to be bothered or held down by her boyfriend. Let me drag Touch It for Beyonce’s verse not helping your score. Pressure : Psycho 6/10 - I love this song, def one of my favourite gaga songs, but it somewhat fits the theme, but I just don't feel the emotion in the song. she has many better ones. Queen Conchita - Conchiita Wurst See Me Now Spoiler , Yvess: Queen Conchita - Conchita Wurst - 7.5: This is an okay choice. The theme of this round was met. It's not just a standout compared to others imo. Element: Queen Conchita - 6.0 - Lyrically vague. The theme is present a bit, but I would have wanted much more content about how this other person is being cancelled. Speezy: Queen Conchita - 10: There is definitely a story being told, She wants to let go but he wants to stay. Basically like opposites and everything she does he opposes. And she wants him to watch her leave his life. #Stan Pressure : Queen Conchita 8/10 - This is quite deep! I can feel the emotion and def fits the theme. even the music goes well! xoxo

I love the metaphors she used in the verses to define their relationship. I give you points also for sending in a song that dedicates it entirety to talk about the ex and not focus on herself that much. Definitely your best performance in this game so far. Kudos! Speezy: EriKills – Tinashe - 8: Really didn’t mention her cutting him off . It definitely stated the toxicity of the entire relationship but didn’t focus that well on “letting him go” but close to it Sabbath: EriKills - Tinashe - 6: I mean, it’s an okay entry but I can’t tell if she’s leaving a relationship or just a summer fling, or something like that since the lyrics do not allude to any type of connection between the 2. I like the first verse and the “I’ll be leaving in the morning” is the closest line to the description of the challenge. I don’t get that “Bye Sister” vibe we were looking for. Pressure : Erikills 8/10 - I really love the lyrics! Guero - Ariana Grande Break Free Spoiler Yvess: Guero - Ariana Grande - 8: I am pleased with this entry, the lyrics fit, I feel that the highlight of this song is the bridge, love the buildup and how she killed the high notes. Speezy: Guero – 7: Jesus gave me patience when reading the lyrics to this cause I wasn’t about to lose a brain cell trying to listen. Anyways, there is a strong emphasis or breaking away, but it really doesn’t give many details on the person besides they had a “broken heart” Sabbath: Guero - Ariana Grande - 8.5: Despite the song having some weird lyrics at times, I think it represents the theme very well, since she’s acknowledging that the other person was only good for her in her dreams and she won’t let them break her heart so she’s leaving before they do. Pressure : Guero 7.5/10 - not much to say about this classic, but that it fits the theme KatyCatPH - Taylor Swift We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together Spoiler Yvess: KatyCatPH - Taylor Swift - 10: A SOLID CHOICE! I never doubted Taylor in giving us this kind of songs. I love everything about this, it definitely resonates the theme. She did a great storytelling in this song too which warrants you this high score from me. Your most superior entry so far in this game Speezy: KatyCatPH - Taylor Swift 8.5: A story whew. I do think the toxicity could’ve been manifested better but I think you did a good job. Sabbath: KatyCatPH - Taylor Swift - 8.5: When I saw the round I was very excited and curious to see what you would send, until I remembered this song existed and realized you were probably using it kii. But I can’t blame you for choosing it, it’s very straight to the point (and to the round), even if the lyrics aren’t the usual TayLord excellence. She literally scalps her ex, from his drug addiction to his poor sexual skills - I live! The lyrics had a lot of great moments that hit my "theme radar button" a lot of times. My faves were : "You fall asleep during foreplay" and "Wanna be your lover, not your f**king mother" , oooh lord the slayage of this song, let me play it again Speezy: kiiwii- 10:First that bridge was not the tea but I’m focusing on the lyrical aspect. The song nailed the topic. He himself wasn intoxicated and being toxic to Katy. Katy put her eyeliner and lipgloss down and said “I’m not sticking around anymore” Sabbath: kiiwii - Katy Perry - 10: oh wow at Miss Katheryn only needing a hundred reasons, Miss Ga could learn sum maffmathics luv x This is great and so far I think the most accurate representation of the theme! It talks about her leaving, the reasons why, and everything wrong with the relationship she’s leaving behind.I really liked the lyrics and could see in my mind everything she was talking about. I wasn’t expecting the song to sound like that tho, I was imagining a Thinking of You-esque vibe, lol. Pressure : kiiwii 10/10 - One of Katy's best song, a great beat, and the lyrics I adore! fits the theme for sure all perfection! great entry. Overprotected - Björk Tabula Rasa Spoiler Yvess: Overprotected - Bjork - 7: This is so deep and profound, I must admit, I didn't like it at first listen but it made some sense when I listened to it again, this is more of like sending out a message to the younger generation to do better amidst the mistakes, I love the feminism route it took too. The part when she talked to her daughter to apologize for her divorce is heartbreaking. With that being said, this is a nice entry. A haunting ballad. Speezy: Overprotected - Björk 5: I’m going to drag you a bit then undrag you. So this song is about generation or traditional mistakes made by people who I assume already kicked the bucket. So with that knowledge they are spiritually and physically cut off. From my understanding this track really doesn’t touch the “letting go/cutting” people out your life but rather breaking old traditions. It hits the topic of letting go but not the topic of letting go toxic people. Sabbath: Overprotected - Björk - 6: I get it, but at the same time I don’t. I like that you went for a different approach. What I get is that she’s talking about something new and leaving the bad traits behind. What I don’t get is the feeling of “you’re cancelled and I’m over you”. She talks about how is time for the next generation to not make the same mistakes, so it feels more like an ode to that than her leaving someone or something behind or “cutting ties/bidding farewell” Pressure : Overprotected 6.5/10 - Personality can't stand her voice, but the lyrics and emotion passes for sure. PoKiTaurus - Mariah Carey Shake It Off Spoiler Yvess: PoKiTaurus - Mariah Carey - 8: This song imo is in the realm of Irreplaceable where the girl throws some sass to her ex, this is cute and addictive, my only problem is it is quite short that I wanted to know more about the ex lover's misdemeanors in the relationship that made MiMi cancel him. Still, this is an above average entry for me xoxo Speezy: PoKiTaurus - 9:Come through mama. She nails the issues she had with the guy and so she decided to shake him off. This song definitely hit the concept of the round Sabbath: Mariah Carey - Shake it Off - 7: I love that she says she grabbed all her Louis and diamonds and clothes lol. This a good entry, she clearly talks about how she’s leaving her partner behind, but it doesn’t give me that feeling of “toxic relationship”, it’s more like a fun breakup song. Pressure : PoKiTaurus 8/10 - I can always hear her "bitch you had this, and you failed" in her voice, and I love it. it's more like proud moving on track. A pass for that. Solarie - Avril Lavigne I Can Do Better Spoiler Yvess: Solarie - Avril Lavigne - 10: THE SLAYAGE OF THIS PUNK ANTHEM I must commend you for sending an album track instead sending her breakup singles, gives me vibes that you truly look up your artist's discography meticulously. Everything about this song is very fitting, she did't mince words to her trashy ex. I even love her sarcastic laughs/giggles althrough out the song. Speezy: Solarie – 7.5: Honestly you could’ve did better. This entry talk about the way he acts, but she didn’t cut him out , he left by will. Sabbath: Solarie - Avril Lavigne - 8: oooh the title alone made very interested in this song. Reading through the lyrics was a kii, the anger and wanting to move on from the relationship is so obvious and exactly what I was expecting and maybe even more lmao, my only ‘complaint’ is that we don’t know why he’s full of **** and a waste of time and why she’s so sick of him so I wish she had addressed that. Pressure : Solarie 10/10 - yes the queen of pop rock and break ups! you can tell Avril always had a bad run with boys. this song is always so powerful! moving on and upgrading! seeing her mistakes. I personitly and im sure a lot of girls and boys can relate to this. fits the theme, amazing lyrics and great music. thecptz - Kacey Musgraves Step Off Spoiler Yvess: thecptz - Kacey Musgraves - 9: Taylor Swift's Mean's long lost sister makes an appearance I love that you chose a song not about breakup, this actually works! Love the relaxed vibe while shutting down haters. Speezy: thecptz -10: This literally nailed the theme and description for this round, And I just love the chorus a lot. She talked about the negativity, and the way she wants the person to step off. I stan Sabbath: thecptz - Kacey Musgraves - 8 : She definitely addresses the toxicity of this person and how it affects not only her but everyone else, so that’s great, it really helps painting the picture. I did feel like Telephone was her closest choice. You can't spell TABS without TAB (Take A Bow) indeed! Element: Bawdee - 10.0 - Okay first of all, why does NOBODY talk about this song ever? It never plays on the radio either which is so weird for a #1 hit. This is a very strong submission. I think she does a good job cancelling this dude, basically say that his performance is DONE and he can go on his way. Sabbath: Bawdee - Rihanna -8 : a better version of a song where the other person cheated, I like the thematic of she relating it to a “show” and all the metaphors about it. Pressure: Bawdee - 9/10 - Love the lyrics and attitude to this track. It really fits the theme Boys - Britney Spears Why Should I Be Sad? Spoiler Yvess: Boys - Britney Spears - 9.5: I love this entry, she made a great dedication to her ex-husband! Great entry, your best entry so far in this game! Element: Boys: 8.0 - The song seems to focus a bit too heavily on Britney herself moving on from the relationship, as opposed to her dragging her ex. She does make it clear that she is cutting ties from a toxic person that her friends warned her about. There is a build-up throughout the song hinting as to what he has done/why he is being cancelled, but it just doesn’t put enough focus onto the other individual to score higher IMO. Sabbath: Boys - Britney - 8.5: I like this song because of the way it describes the entire relationship and makes you understand all the bad **** she was going thru and why she’s moving along. The song doesn’t sound sad but the lyrics make me so sad :( Pressure: Boys - 7.5/10 - Not much personality but the lyrics can show the heartbreak, well done..it surely fits the theme fiercE - Måns Zelmerlöw Round Round Spoiler Yvess: fiercE - Måns Zelmerlöw - 7: Love the chorus! This actually works tbh, it is just that it seems that his ex already left him and this is all just wishful thinking of him if ever she comes back. Element: fiercE: 6.0 - Another entry that is just kind of vague lyrically. Yes, it’s clear the narrator is moving on from someone who is a liar, but there are very few lines in the song that focus on what the other has done and why they are being cancelled. Sabbath: fiercE - Mans - 6: Not my favorite entry, it feels more like just another breakup song instead of the ‘cancelled’ feeling we were looking for. Pressure: fiercE - 6/10 - This is a bop! but the lyrics is probably not as powerful as the others but I still enjoy the melody in this. Lukey - Ciara I'm Out Spoiler Yvess: Lukey - Ciara: 6: This is a cute post breakup song, my issue here is that she is more focused in talking about herself than cancelling that man from her life which this theme is asking for. Element: Lukey: 5.0 - This song has a lot of potential thematically but it ultimately falls flat for me. There is a hint of being annoyed and cancelling the ex, like when he’s texting her while she’s out enjoying herself. However, it ultimately seems to be more of a celebration of herself and her newfound independence than an anthem that destroys the dude for what he did. Sabbath: Lukey - Ciara - 3.5: this doesn’t really hit the mark for me sadly :( it feels like a post-break up feelgood song to hype yourself up instead of what the theme of the round was. There’s nothing about the relationship or moving on or anything. Pressure: Lukey- 5/10 - I don't feel much emotion in this track sadly Not Like The Movies - Janelle Monae Lettin' Go Spoiler Yvess: Not Like The Movies - Janelle Monae - 9: Your team must regret for sending you as a tribute last time coz you killed it again in this round. I like that this song talked about a toxic work environment, I am glad you went in this direction coz it made you stand out. a breath of fresh air, you did that! Element: Not Like The Movies - 6.5 - Ugh I was so excited when I listened to the first verse because I thought we were going to get an entire song dragging her job/boss/etc, which was really unique as opposed to the romantic focus we’ve seen elsewhere this round. Unfortunately, the song became way too focused on her celebrating vs. explaining the stress and problems her boss caused. Sabbath: Not Like the Movies - Janelle Monae - 7.5 :I love that you went for something so different, since it was encouraged. She mentions her job was very stressful but I wish we got to know more about it, ‘cause that’s the only thing it mentions about it being ‘toxic’. However, I appreciate the risk. Pressure: Not Like The Movies- 6.5/10 - Give me those blues/rnb fibes! and catchy lyrics..not much emotion tho. Pendulum - Grimes Flesh without Blood/Life in the Vivid Dream Spoiler Yvess: Pendulum - Grimes - 9: WOW! OH WOW! You nailed this round, I like how this song talked about the reality of having fake friends. Great entry, your best so far! Element: Pendulum - 8.5 - I’ve always really enjoyed this song. I think that it touches the theme very well. You provide enough context to understand the darkness in the other person’s heart, and she really focuses on dragging him down throughout the entire thing! Good work. Sabbath: Pendulum - Grimes - 7: I like that you went for a fake friendship approach and the way Grimes talks about noticing the changes or more like the true colors of this person. But it doesn’t really makes an emphasis on her leaving this person. She tells them to let her go at some points and it looks more like a drag than a cancellation. Still an interesting entry. Pressure: Pendulum- 6.5/10 - Really catchy song! and she did a song with BMTH so double wowza, but it's hard to understand what she is saying without lyrics..so that sorta loses points. PinkBox - Celine Dion Misled Spoiler Yvess: PinkBox - Celine Dion - 10: It fits the round, I like the wrath vibe in this song, she's not having it with this man, he better hide from her if he likes to live another day. Aside from the lyrics, the emotion in this song is its focal point imo. Element: PinkBox - 8.0 - Good entry! I think she carries an attitude throughout that effectively diminishes the dignity of her ex… he’s just another page in a very long novel - irrelevant and canceled! I would have loved to see a few more concrete or unique examples suggested what exactly he did. Sabbath: Pinkbox - Celine Dion - 9: This truly screams BYE SISTER, whew. The way she just talks of the other person like “just another page” and how wrong they are if they think she thinks about them great entry, not bad for a whale with no talent Pressure: Pinkbox 7/10 - gives it that sass feel in her voice and lyrics! tho I can see it matching the theme.
