Ash12345
I've gone through all the most successful artists on the AC radio charts and ranked them, according to the number of weeks spent in the top 5 by songs where they are the lead artist. I chose the top 5 rather than weeks on the chart because recurrency rules have changed significantly from the early 00s to present. Back then, songs only went recurrent when they fell out of the top 20, while now they only go recurrent after falling out of the top 5 (if they're spent a year on the chart). The longest charting songs from the late 90s and early 00s would have up to a year and a half chopped off their chart run if the present day recurrency rules were applied to them. The difference in audience between the #1 and #5 is usually quite small too, so looking at weeks spent in the top 5 is usually a better indicator of how big of a hit a song was since it's going to be less impacted by whether there happens to be 1-2 other really big songs on the airwaves at the same time. I'll be revealing from #10 to #1 throughout the day. Any predictions? Reveals 1. Kelly Clarkson 2. Taylor Swift 3. Maroon 5 4. Adele 5. Ed Sheeran 6. Michael Bublé 7. P!nk 8. Train 9. Faith Hill 10. Five For Fighting Honorable Mention 11. Colbie Caillat Edited April 3, 2019 by Ash12345

touya kinomoto
Will Sara Bareilles make the list? Love Song was such an AC hit. Brave also reached top 2 (only blocked by... you guessed it, Roar).

Love Song spent 39 weeks in the top 5, making it a bigger hit than the biggest AC hits of many of the artists who did make the top 10, and then Brave got 16 weeks, but she would've needed a couple more hits to make the list since that's only 55 weeks. Definitely not top 10 then. I doubt her other singles were AC hits.

touya kinomoto
Ed, Adele and Taylor will surely be there. They spent 61, 57 and 45 weeks on top of the AC chart respectively. How much more within the top 5? I am not really sure.
Champion Cynthia
Oh wow I forgot how big Breathe was. IIRC, it’s the only non-#1 to end up as the YE #
Ash12345
@istan4badgalriri @Cherry123 The most successful visible minority was Bruno Mars at 65 weeks. When I Was Your Man was tied for the song with the 3rd most weeks in the top 5 this century at 50 weeks. Lionel Richie was one of the most successful artists of all time on the AC charts but hasn't had much success this century.
