Only if she goes back to #1 for the third time. Which is possible if it’s the first couple weeks of January when the lip comes out and rsdio is still high. Radio will start to plummet mid Jan, at about the pace it rose on radio,

what are you talking about, why would radio plummet

and what would steal it's 7th week?

PS miss your old sig

2019 is for sure a new year of pop slaying the charts. These years of the urban trap reign felt like 2007/2008 when hip hop r&b were reigning the charts and then katy gaga came to bring pop back. Ariana and halsey the new katy and gaga.

um blackout in 2007/2008 along with Rihanna gggb :cupid: but 2019 is a new year of pop slaying

wow these christmas songs have really found a platform that will make them a huge force in the charts every year. People never bought them every year before cause they would probably already own a copy. So that limited their sales somewhat. Now it makes sense they prefer to just stream them each year instead.

Amazon music’s chart is all Christmas songs.

It makes sense since at least one person in my family is asking Alexa to play Christmas songs every night.

It’s not happening. At this point Ariana herself has an urban sound to keep relevant. Pop as we knew it is dead.

Yea, but as alwsys it comes back with a new vibe.

as well, Without me is heavily laced with r&b, and Halsey is more alt/various genres than pop.

"Various genres"? Don't you mean "various genders"?

as amazon gains marketshare in the streaming world, expect xmas songs to fly up more easily bc amazon streams are all paid
