I Shall Love 2 never fails to floor me, NFW is one of the best hits of the year, Barbie Dreams was such a kii on the initial listen but after the novelty factor wore off I realised i prefer other tracks on the album, and Emerald Rush is obv legendary

The gag is NFW is his weakest #1 this year. Pretty telling telling of the state of mainstream radio  

Maybe it's because I didn't listen to it that often but it took longer for the novelty to wear off for me

I actually remember the thread hyping Queen up a lot when it first dropped. But I agree at it not living up to it namesake though.

You've heard of Les Sins? It's Toro under a different moniker. You might like that if you liked Freelance since it's more dancier.

My picks off Queen would be Barbie Dreams, Good Form, LLC, Nip Tuck. Would've been a bomb ass 4 track EP  Throw in Coco Chanel and Chun-Li as bonus tracks

dd I'm usually funnier when I don't try to be so I guess that worked out!

I think EiL would've worked better as more of a therapy-like album (sort of them sitting with a marriage counselor and engaging each other about their issues) but I guess that's what Lem and 4:44 was for? But if they did the album like that then I think LOVEHAPPY would've worked even better as a closer and the album wouldn't have been as panned as it was

Shame was cute but compared to BLACK's and SUMMERS' single he did come harder. Maybe single #2 will do the trick

From what I saw, his album is doing pretty well on the 2018 AcclaimedMusic.net aggregate lists (#17)

Yeah I remember what you said before about his voice in madonnas' thread and I feel that's the best (or at least my favorite) example of him using his voice so effectively on soil. I was actually watching the video for the song a while ago (which is great btw) and it made me realize how much control it takes/would take to sing the way he does. I'd stan in a heartbeat but he needs to tone it smidge
