Remmy Posted December 12, 2018 Posted December 12, 2018 2017 Recap: Melodrama #1 and the best song from it, Hard Feelings/Loveless, being the highest MASSEDUCTION, From the Dining Table, Spaceship, Get Free, etc. also getting some love Best Songs: "X" is pretty good, just the right amount of chaos for me.
Vilppu Posted December 12, 2018 Posted December 12, 2018 i found the 1975 album self-indulgent and pretentious too ^-^ the sing i liked the most was the moderat demo but this ok too remember my name >
Temporal Posted December 12, 2018 Posted December 12, 2018 klagdskjh i never noticed the Lil Peep mention in LIIWMI That song is quite good tho
Cloröx Posted December 12, 2018 Posted December 12, 2018 Love It If We Made It is somehow overrated, there's a lot of better songs in the album I'm
TRF. Posted December 12, 2018 Posted December 12, 2018 I agrih that the lyrics of that 1975 song are cringy. Not in that the song itself is good tho. Love seeing Remember My Name and OK, Meet Me Underwater tho!
theblackestday Posted December 12, 2018 Posted December 12, 2018 I've not heard that Jay Som song lemme save it Love It If We Made It sucks but also not at the same time? It's a mystery Woman? wow a true Lipster, the rest of us forgot about its existence Remember My Name
ATRL Moderator Unoriginal Posted December 12, 2018 ATRL Moderator Posted December 12, 2018 yeah i'm really not all that keen on abiior but LIIWMI is kind of great
potent Posted December 13, 2018 Posted December 13, 2018 I really prefer The 1975’s last era, but I’m starting to get into Love It If We Made It recently

Pink Matter Posted December 13, 2018 Posted December 13, 2018 Remember My Name is the best from this batch for me! I also wasn't much of a fan of Jay Som's 2017 album so if it's anything like that I may not like The Cat Power/Lana track was cute though!
TheWayWeWere Posted December 13, 2018 Posted December 13, 2018 Doesn't matter is one of my favorites from Chris Woman was cute, but we need more Lana vocals Mitski

K$Ellie Posted December 13, 2018 Posted December 13, 2018 I prefer Hard Feelings but X is a bop as well her album was surprisingly good(-ish) Love It If We Made It is a SONG the album is a biT overrated but I like it Remember My Name is nice but not one of my faves
Body Electrician Posted December 13, 2018 Author Posted December 13, 2018 One of the best new bands to come out of the UK this year. This album highlight captures the bands melancholy aesthetic against their enigmatic English backdrop. Although I was overall disappointed in Ariana Grande's Sweetener (mainly due to Pharrell's stale production and the basic lyrics), this made me say "yuh" the second I heard it. Max Martin and Ilya are Ariana's match made in upside down heaven. Sounding like the lovechild of the Cocteau Twins and Carly Rae Jepsen, Hatchie ushers us into her dream pop world on this Sugar & Spice EP highlight. Thanks to @theblackestday for turning me onto her! A song that never fails to improve my mood,Greta Kline's twee pop continues to delight in Vessel's opener. Obsessed with the guitar in this song One of my favourite finds of 2018
Sbbmsve Posted December 13, 2018 Posted December 13, 2018 Taste jumped once again, Hatchie I never heard of Greta, lemme check her.
Eeveelution Posted December 13, 2018 Posted December 13, 2018 Sleep: that was a classic, that was a classic. All Pharrell songs > breathin

Thanks to @theblackestday for turning me onto her! It's my pleasure doing God's work I feel the exact opposite @ your Breathin writeup I really liked that Frankie Cosmos album, but I kinda ended up forgetting about it. Mitski pulled the 1-2 min long songs better this year
TheWayWeWere Posted December 14, 2018 Posted December 14, 2018 Breathin is pop perfection :jonny: production alone >>> still can't believe this bitch hated this song
Navyofbadgals Posted December 14, 2018 Posted December 14, 2018 Breathin is cute also need to check out this mothers thingy
Blue Rose Posted December 14, 2018 Posted December 14, 2018 Breathin is cute but I think I’m just tired of everything Max Martin related. Let me check out “pink” I love a good guitar riff
mokitsu Posted December 14, 2018 Posted December 14, 2018 i only know breathin, lemme check out the rest
