Tom Vercetti Posted December 24, 2018 Posted December 24, 2018 why bubblin was scrapped from oxnard remains a mystery to me. I prefer the live version of tlic tbh. The production stands out.
Pink Matter Posted December 24, 2018 Posted December 24, 2018 This set: Dua, DJ Koze, MGMT, Charli, Andy, Ari, and US Girls while tlic grew on me a bit, let's not go crazy now. It's still like bottom 3 on the album. But her fans definitely have tragic taste. Remember when they thought no tears left to cry was some left-field **** and so completely different to other material?

Kevin2803 Posted December 25, 2018 Posted December 25, 2018 TLIC didn't deserve all the hate, but it's also not her best song Focus is cute
World Eater Posted December 25, 2018 Posted December 25, 2018 I basically liked every single song from this update? Maybe miss volition snapped L- being overlooked is a travesty, I kinda wish it was a single so people would give it the respect it deserves

volition Posted December 29, 2018 Author Posted December 29, 2018 30. Blue Rose - Amen Dunes this is wonderfully performed and very evocative musica psychedelic folk 29. Anna Wintour - Azealia Banks this is shameless and basically a mixture of everything she can do but it’s what she needed, i think musica hip house 28. If The Car Beside You Moves Ahead - James Blake some of the glitchy parts can be quite beautiful musica glitch pop 27. Sleep - Hatchie i can’t wait for her album, glad she chose this aesthetic to work with and make effortless pop songs in the process musica dream pop 26. Baby I'm Bleeding - JPEGMAFIA *dad voice* i like how it has a good beat excellent performance musica industrial hip hop 25. Only Acting - Kero Kero Bonito the noise is not very challenging i agree but it sounds good musica noise pop 24. Freee - KIDS SEE GHOSTS conservatives always win musica pop rap 23. In My Dreams - Kali Uchis gorillaz reference musica synthpop 22. If You Know You Know - Pusha T could've put the diss track but this will age far better musica gangsta rap 21. Emerald Rush - Jon Hopkins shows that he's still got it, pretty at the beginning, nice groove at the end musica tech house 20. Almost Had to Start a Fight / In and Out of Patience - Parquet Courts short and effective burst of socially conscious but extremely catchy art punk musica art punk 19. Colossus - Idles also socially aware but a lot more aggro musica post-punk 18. The Bends - Earl Sweatshirt gritty and dark, nice sample, i didn't rly have much preference in picking a song here i like the whole album musica abstract hip hop 17. God Break Down The Door - Nine Inch Nails i like the saxophones musica art rock 16. Cool & Collected - Let's Eat Grandma young synthpop girls throw in a post-rock track to show off their ambition musica art pop / post-rock 15. Overtime - Jessie Ware she needs to go back to electronic music, it fits her far better than bland pop soul musica garage house 14. Cityfade - Against All Logic good piano sound nice musica deep house 13. Lonesome Love - Mitski no geyser or nobody surprise bitch you thought!! i feel this song in my heart, tbh musica indie folk 12. Is It Cold In The Water? - SOPHIE really shows how bubblegum bass has so much potential outside of its comfort zone musica art pop (?) 11. Venice Bitch - Lana Del Rey thought this was too basic at first and didn’t like the lyrics but it’s beautiful, trash antonoff snapped i guess musica neo-psychedelia 10. Satan in the Wait - Daughters the guitar in the background is glorious and the track itself is Very Epic musica noise rock 9. The Fall - Korridor heavily arresting and very bracing techno musica industrial techno / dark ambient 8. Noid - Yves Tumor who knew a song about police brutality could be so catchy? (formation doesn’t count) musica psychedelic pop 7. Years Gone By - Avantdale Bowling Club very powerful story here, i will talk more about this guy in the album section musica jazz rap / conscious hip hop 6. Send To Robin Immediately - Robyn love love love her new lowkey direction, it fits her very well and this was the track that stuck with me the most from first listen musica electropop 5. Always Trying to Work It Out - Low this is basically how it feels trying to run in a nightmare but you move like you're in slow motion except i guess it is a good nightmare musica glitch pop 4. The Mysterious Vanishing of Electra - Anna von Hausswolff i was very extremely shook the first time i heard this, what with all the screaming and gothic instrumental stuff. musica experimental rock 3. Girl Of The Year - Beach House kinda simple by their standards especially given their newish direction but by the intro i’m already lost in it. kind of a Perfect Melody i think. musica dream pop 2. Words I Heard - Julia Holter utterly beautiful the whole way through. there is really only one vocal melody but it’s incredible, the lyrics are great, the strings in the ‘bridge’ section are heavenly, and then there’s that final line. ‘i love you in the city of man’. musica chamber pop 1. Unmade - Thom Yorke no real question about it, since i heard the leak on reddit. spellbindingly beautiful, improved further by the absolute event that is the scene in the movie that it plays in, attached to a special personal experience. whenever i hear this song i find myself holding my breath. musica ambient pop

Eeveelution Posted December 30, 2018 Posted December 30, 2018 You know what.. I love almost everything here. Most of those I either chose for my own list or are among my faves from their albums. Musica excellence all around. Venice bitch was robbed of top 10 tho.
Sbbmsve Posted December 30, 2018 Posted December 30, 2018 (edited) Wow Thom #1? Shook! Great top 30 though, it’s great that you avoided picking the obvious songs and went with mostly deep-cuts Edited December 30, 2018 by Sbbmsve
