No it wasn't.  The end of year lists, shows Lemonade, as the top selling 2016 release globally. Views only passed it this year, when  streams got added this year(Mediatraffic confirms this). Lemonade continues to have the pure sales advantage, while Views has lost steam on that front.

Comparing sales of albums that are on/off spotify is a no go these days. I don't use Views, but comming for its success is rather funny. Take a look at Drakes Spotify page and have several seats. That album was a smash like very few and SPS is the future, now deal with it.
