Only 6/9 jurors voted as they were supposed to, and we are now stuck in a tie situation. We were not expecting this many people to neglect their jury duty, but I guess this fits in to the season theme of volcano twists, right? rl231 will post the tiebreaker and final winner announcement next. In season 5 of Survivor: ATRL Edition (aka Element's winning season), the jury was tied, so the decision came down to the judges to decide who should win the title of Sole Survivor. They took into consideration the player's progress over the season and their Final Tribal Council. With that, the four judges came to an unanimous decision. And the winner of Survivor: ATRL Edition (Season 8) is... CONGRATULATIONS, KIPPERSKIPPER!! You are ATRL's Eighth Sole Survivor! You were the most physically dominant with an average of 8.77, the highest of the season. In addition to that, you also had a great strategic game filled with deception, cunning, and wit.
