rl231 Posted January 4, 2019 Author Posted January 4, 2019 Welcome castaways to Round 14 of Survivor: ATRL Edition (Season 7)! Let's get started! The theme for Round 14 is... Picture Perfect With the emoji round, there was less wiggle room and you really had to just represent what was given to you in a more straight-forward manner. This round goes a little deeper than that. We will give you five pictures. They're not all from the same theme/brand like the emojis were. They're completely different from each other. You will choose a track to represent each based off what you feel each image represents/denotes. You also have more freedom as you are allowed to explain your tracks this round. Briefly, but still a good privilege to have. You should look at each image. Ask yourself what you see here. Choose a track. And then explain your choice as you feel necessary (BUT DO NOT GO CRAZY). 1-2 sentences should suffice as long as they get your point across. This is what would be defined as a necessary explanation: 1. State what the image's meaning is to you. 2. Explain how your track choice fits that meaning. Just follow the 1-2 Step above and you're good. The panel will be ranking this round. Your actual song choice matters most just like in previous rounds but your explanation will be used to justify and differentiate between placements. It's important not to use this freedom of explaining to create things that aren't there. You still need to make sure your song choice actually does fit the image. Your interpretation of an image may differ from your fellow castaway's but as long as both your interpretations can be found in that image, it will be a matter of whose interpretation is better than who is right and who is wrong. ________________________________________________________________________ Guidelines: There is no need for a formatted entry this round as entries will be posted together as they were last round. We will just need 5 yt videos in addition to 5 explanations. Just make sure to denote which stuff belongs to which image though. We're not expecting that many people to want the same tracks but as usual, we'll get back to you to either confirm or inform you a track is already taken.
