Obviously very frontloaded but still insane and he is still possibly coming for #2 OAT, but i think it's safe to say Adele's record will stay safe, given that he's 100k below what 25 had after the first 3 days! Adele's record is safe for sure. Ed's numbers are incredible though, especially for a march release #2 biggest opening ever?

Sam will get the Emeli treatment on his next album for sure.

But i reckon with this start he may do 550k 1st week, astounding And possibly more than in US They don't count TEA in the UK. And it is expected that around 90k "sales" will come from streaming (in first week).

Ed's numbers are incredible though, especially for a march release #2 biggest opening ever? Debut weeks are always huge, no matter when the album is released. The second biggest debut week in the US was in march (NSYNC - 2.4 million). In the UK Oasis album was released in august, Coldplay in june... and they did huge numbers. Releasing in the 4th quarter only multiply album sales because of holiday shopping.
