Khal Posted February 28, 2017 Posted February 28, 2017 Why are people surprised with Taylor. She didn't really become "global" till the middle of the Red era, so it's not surprising she's not ranked high.

Mariah got the closest with AIWFCIY reaching #2. Céline's 'To Love You More' went #1 and is allegedly the second highest-selling international single there.

U did an AWESOME job with ur research for the whole thread but I really have no clue why you re tryna convince the hives that Beyonce doesn't walk on water. The grammies are racist because she didn't win. And chart where she doesn't triumph in are all inaccurate (unlike the iTunes chart from Tanzania where u can be #1 with 10 sales/week). And anybody who reports her albums sales is dumb for not realizing hers are dramatically more undercertified than her peers. I think point, I won't be surprised when they start going after God for whatever next complaints they have. I think thats normal, all stans try to make their faves look better in numbers and beauty more than they really are lol

To Love You More was #1 on the YEC of International singles. The peak on Oricon Charts was #20. as far as I know, any international single have never peak the number one spot there.

Robynwelo Posted March 1, 2017 Posted March 1, 2017 (edited) @Anticipating I don't see South Africa on your list. Thought they had official chart. Also Brazil and some other countries, why only those few countries? Edited March 1, 2017 by Robynwelo
KKCuteCat Posted March 2, 2017 Posted March 2, 2017 I'm pretty sure Avril Lavigne has lots of #1 hits WW? Complicated and GF alone have like 12 #1 weeks in Australia.
Miley Cyrus Posted March 2, 2017 Posted March 2, 2017 (edited) No Taylor she's local! Beyonce so low Edited March 2, 2017 by Miley Cyrus
Planet Mars Posted March 2, 2017 Posted March 2, 2017 Literally none of the 60's/70's divas are here. Diana Ross would've probably been the closest.

It's not like she's having #1 hits like she used to during the GGGB era or Loud. And Work was #1 in like 4 or 5 countries right? Acts tend to slow down during the 30s as well. We'll see.

King Maxx Posted March 3, 2017 Posted March 3, 2017 (edited) Madonna and Rihanna. Queens. If Rihanna promotes and keep reinventing her sounds, she MIGHT be able to claim this generation for females like Madonna. She might even snatch her wig. Edited March 3, 2017 by King Maxx
