After Psycho peaking at #2, Finesse missing the #1 and Be Careful #11 I don't want to jinx some of my favorite songs so I'm keeping my expectations low

Boo'd Up will have a BET performance

But after June 29th..Youtube will have lower half influence in the Hot 100 formula :doc:I hope by that time Ella will be on Spotify Today's Top Hits

The top 4 songs all debuted top 2 and have yet to leave the top 5. Talk about chart movement!

Imagine if post actively tried to go number one with psycho (pop girl promo), I mean he was less than 2M streams from #1

the problem is its Republic vs Republic. it doesn't make sense to invest extra money in getting another #1 when they'll have the top two either way

I mean if it was a pop girl ala Camila (only using her as an example because she is the only one that hit #1 recently), he would be posting about the single constantly on insta/twitter, performing it on TV, or even doing a remix. I mean if he performed it on Fallon last Friday, it could've been number one from the performance YT views alone. But you make a really good point, from the labels perspective it doesn't matter

With Wait and GLY they would have 5 top 20s from Red Pill Blues, their flop era was definitely Hands All Over and not this one.

I Like It going #1 isn’t that far fetched, even with the pregnancy. Scorpion will be the real test, so pray for a more life  :fan:

Who were the last couple or so artists, who went number one, with a new single from an album, after the slbum dropped - that was just the album version of the song, ie no remix, no newly added featured artist etc,

Black Beatles.

The charts are weak rn. Nicki shouldn’t have delayed that album.

justin bieber - love yourself was released a little before the album
