I didn't know about this thread so there's why I created without asking you. I do believe enough people would be interested on doing it. Please let me know if/when I can create it. Thank you so much. any answers on this? hehe @Ace Reject if you don't approve it that's okay but let me know

LoKoPaNdA Posted July 21, 2018 Posted July 21, 2018 So I still wanna do the Father John Misty rate, he has 4 studio albums and is liked by quite a few ATRLers I'd say!!
Eeveelution Posted July 21, 2018 Posted July 21, 2018 A hot take: there are way too many discography rates rn, I feel like we should calm down a bit for a while.

Not only are there too many discography rates going on right now (we've got 3 active ones if the OP + a Katy Perry and Kacey Musgraves rate ) we have too many rates going on period. And if memory serves me correct, I think Ace was planning to go with an essentials rate first or smth.
enxe Posted July 22, 2018 Posted July 22, 2018 Yeah, let's all just focus on the Kacey rate. We can talk about Florence after that.

There are FIVE of them. NO MORE for now. Can we come up with something else? How about UK or US number twos of the Aughts? Eurovision number ones? Best Original Song winners? ANYTHING.

Sounds good! tho yeah since he's not played a lot on radio it's kinda weird, i could go off what wikipedia lists as singles (he records music videos for album tracks sometimes)

ATRL Moderator Ace Reject Posted July 24, 2018 Author ATRL Moderator Posted July 24, 2018 Even ideas like this or this would be TERRIFIC rate ideas. I'd like the former first tbh @umich, start it now! We need a non-disco rate desperately.

You're probs already set on your P&J #1's rate but what are your thoughts on this idea: On 7/8/2018 at 2:55 PM, Pink Matter said: Something I just thought of is along with the This Was 2XXX rates we do, we could also focus on the singles for a particular year. I know we did These Were The Singles for 2005-2009 last year but instead we could simply do it for one year and do the top 50 singles instead of 10 singles/5 years (so like THIS WAS 2017: The Singles) @Ace Reject. I'm surprised we don't do that more often. 6 hours ago, Quicksand said: Whatever happened to those Aaliyah/Brandy/Kelis and Britney/Justified/M!ssundaztood rates that were being planned?
