This description unfortunately applies to every one of you left, which makes the eliminations at this stage harder than ever. However, there can only be 5, and right now, 1 moving forward onto Episode 9 and the Top 5 of Platinum Hit: Stardom. UFO Posted July 7, 2018 Posted July 7, 2018 PH5 - Top 5 PH6 - Top 6 PH7 - Top 5 PH8 - Top 4 PH9 - Top 20 DH - Top 12 10.5 - Top 4 PH11 - Top 10 (Forced quit ) whew!!!!!!! my longevity. I'm so glad to have been able to make the Top 5 this season, I'd love to crack the Top 3... we'll see. There has been so much talent over the years and I've always thought I was sub-par, not even compared to others but how I saw myself. My first three seasons everything started off with a bang, I was very experimental and raw and very young. I finally had an outlet for everything. I was so uninspired during PH9/DH and shat out songs like turds like quick little hits except for the fact that they weren't hits (screaming), but ever since 10.5 I've been crafting songs that I'm so proud of. My own Renaissance To have participated in so many seasons already and to have still not fully showcased all of what I can do is exciting. It's been a whirlwind of a journey. The fact that I was originally going to quit in the first round of PH5 for confusing myself with timezones and yet............ now I'm here. This is very much a personal growth and success as much as it is a statistical one. 2017 was a TRAGIC year for me (and I've lost a lot this year - both good and bad), so for that tragedy to be turned into beautiful songs this season is just... very cathartic and gratifying for me. I feel like I still have yet to unlock my full potential but I have found a direction. I think, out of any season, this is my favourite collection of songs. They all deal with different themes yet are so cohesive, they are fantastical yet also hit close to home, very much like me. I've only ever had two #1s and a handful of #2s. I've never been in any PH finale (I'm the definition of falling before the last hurdle) so it'd be nice to reach it finally this season, but I've accomplished a lot already so I'm satisfied with whatever will be will be. If you've known me since early seasons, you know how far I've come. I've never been a frontrunner but I always remain persistent, despite all of the mess and self-destruction. I don't particularly have a strong, defined style so it's always been a toss-up with me so I'm legit in awe of my consistency - that I can do that. And the best part is: it's still not over. I wrote Oblivion predicting my downfall, that I'd get eliminated and yet - for the countless time - I've proved myself wrong. This is a testament to keep on going even if you can't foresee where you'll be arriving. It's very surreal, even though all of it is... real.

Thank you all for the time and energy you have put into writing some of the biggest hits Platinum Records has had the pleasure to produce. As we proceed with the final third of our search for Platvia's next Superstar, now is definitely the time to reflect on why you entered this tournament and channel all of your energy into achieving your goals. You are all so close. So close you can almost taste it… the scent of victory, the roar of the applause, the flashing lights and cameras, the hugs and handshakes from those congratulating you. That's exactly what we want you to channel this week. Each sense has the potential to transport you back to a specific place or time, recall a fond or unsavoury memory, or even help you relate to a scenario you've never experienced. Used in conjunction, the five senses help create the human experience. While it may not be needed, we've requested our social media bloggers compile a list of the Five Senses and provide a deeper analysis of them. The way I've always wanted to write a song that dealt with all of the 5 senses and now I can. whew!!!!!!!!!!!! okay. This should be good. I usually incorporate the senses in my songs so and I'm very much a sensory person. inb4 I add a 6th, 7th, 8th, 9th, 10th sense dddddddddddddddd Taste is gonna be... interesting ffff I wish @Speezy was here, I feel like ha interpretation of this round would be innovative and ICONIC.

My sing "Aftertaste" from last season (and "Erased", the 8thPrince [RIP] song it was loosely inspired by) were very sensory-heavy imagery-based songs which I think would fit the requirements of this challenge.
