no there are no points of Hen lol ...ariana fans just supports each other..lol but we all know the truth.when ariana gets 2 #1 singles on pop radio  THIS YEAR or she's about to have her first #1 on hot 100 then we will talk..for now camila is the 'it' girl of the year so far

dddd i don't support Hen because he stans ari, i support him because he is making sense. though being smart does seem to be correlated to stanning ari so you have almost half a point there.

anyways his point that NBTS isn't smash in ever metric is very correct .it is quite rare that song do so well on radio without also doing well on iTunes, like look at Whatever It Takes, it has almost no streaming power but the radio exposure still makes it sell very well; in fact it sells much better than NBTS, despite having a smaller radio audience. Meant To Be is smashing in sales and radio, while not being a big streaming force. Wait by M5 has basically no streaming but still manages to get more sales by the audience than NBTS. the fact is that NBTS is having an abnormal success on radio relative to the other metrics, and like you said it's very similar to Scars to your beautiful, which was also a super odd case. i'm not saying it makes her any less of a relevant pop girl or whatever, idc about that, i'm here to talk about charts and NBTS is a curious case worth talking about

the level of delusion....... do how many artists in history had a #1 and then they declined until no one knows about them anymore? A LOT.

Longevity is what wins in the end and the fact Ariana debuted at #3 on Hot 100 with a SOLO singles, shows who is winning. When Camila will sold 100M records with streams / 50M records pure, 2 worldwide ARENA tour, 9 Top 10 hits (5 Top 5 / 6 Top 10 debuts), 16 BILLION of streams and several worldwide hits, we will talk. For now, Ariana is winning.

Oh, and look at the difference: when Ariana got her biggest worldwide era (My Everything) she went on a worldwide sold out arena tour while Camila is still the opening act for Taylor Swift's tour :sorry:

camila definitely is not a one hit wonder when she has as a solo artist 4 top 20 hits already (3 of them top 10 on hot 100 and #1 on pop radio) and she only began her solo career 2 years ago. and she has a debut tour full of sold out shows....well ariana had an underperformance era so far (dangerous woman era) side to side saved her a little in the end of that era (but we can't forget focus-into you failure.)....yes no tears left to cry has a nice start we will see how the era is going to be in the long run.but now camila still remains the 'it' pop girl of the year .like it or not she won

3 of them in Top 10? Actually, she has 2 Top 10, 0 as a solo artist.

Underperforming era? Where? She spawned two 3X PLATINUM hits and one 4X PLATINUM. Let’s see how much Camila will do in her next era, sweetie. Dangerous Woman era outsold Camila era, so stay in your line.

‘Focus-Into You failure’... One debuted Top 10 the other peaked at #13 but both has more than 1 BILLION streams worldwide. Plus, Into You is 3X PLATINUM in the US. What about Never Be The Same Crying In The Club and I Have Questions? :fan:

okay but I can't with some of ariana fans who wants to discredit nbts success cause it was not a spotify smash or cause she needed a remix and a  discount to go high on the charts...lt still will be a top 10 multi platinum hit and with a #1 radio position... it was a success.camila did it again!some of ariana fans had forgot the into you chart run...weeks of discount, remix with mac miller, decent spotify positions with promo and it still failed to reach top 10 or to become a radio force...so please some of the ariana fans should not come for camila ..

nbts will be top 10 tomorrow on hot 100... and it is #1 on pop radio and billboard will confirm it 100% tomorrow for sure.you want to deny it? ok if you feel better this way...i have questions was never a single.what a silly comparison??? lol it was a promo track only.. yes only crying in the club underperforming but it's ok...ariana had many underperformance singles..( baby i,right there, everyday, focus, into you)....well we all know that focus, and into you were flops  no matter of streams and certifications...ariana can't have something that camila already has..a #1 hit... 5X platinum...the biggest female song of the year....nbts did a good job as a slow song ...hip hop /rap trend right now has kill the pop artists and pop songs.we all know that.but camila did it again..she is a force and she will not stop.....dangerous woman was an underperformance compare to her previous albums..we all know that .if you can't accept it and you want to be delusional it's ok.living in your own world

Into You was discounted for 2 weeks, the Mac remix wasn't even released on iTunes, and it was a spotify smash, radio is the only thing that kept it out of the top 10 because it was too different from anything on the radio back in 2016, what chart are you even looking at where Into You flopped

lol I said it before don't post before checking the truth facts.lol.of course mac remix was availabe on itunes.it was first on soundcloud and after that on itunes to help the hot 100 positions and it still failed..please..you wanna support your favorite artist.it's ok.but you should do it right lol

Well actually Ariana has 2 6X platinum songs but go awf

"well we all know that focus, and into you were flops  no matter of streams and certifications" yeah that's not how it works skjdksj you can't just say something was a flop despite it's certifications and streams, that's like saying "I think Shape Of You flopped I don't care that it was the #1 song of 2017" :dies:

Again, she's only doing good on POP radio, hip hop didn't kill pop on pop radio skjsks

lol I will not continue to talk with someone who said that never be the same was out of top 20 on itunes without even checking lol lies or doesn't know that the into you remix of your fave is out availabe on itunes for like 2 years now lol...

Not even 800k out of those truly groundbreaking 3M views are from the US

Which is a pretty normal proportion for all songs, so what's the issue?

2 hours ago, Henstridge said:

Again, slay those 15k sales with a 150M radio audience I guess

Which is more than what 80% of songs on the charts are selling at any given time so, again, what?

the current #4 is a random album track from Post Malone

So what, hitting #4 doesn't matter now because Post Malone's album tracks can do it? What's next? A song can't be said to have done well on streaming until it hits #1? :deadbanana: Like, what are you worked up about? The song may be out of the top 100 but that doesn't change the fact that it peaked high and did very well on streaming as evidenced by it's close to 300m streams on Spotify and close to 200m streams on YouTube.

Well excuse me for thinking you have some comprehension skills, I will explain every thing I say from now on so you don't get confused.

The Mac remix was released 11 days after it was released on soundcloud, it was released when radio was already dropping it, and they were moving on the Side To Side, plus the remix didn't have any itunes playlist exposure and it didn't do anything.

As for the NBTS top 20 thing I already answered that so you can just look it up.

You can keep saying Into You flopped and NBTS smashed, but the charts, sales, streams and certifications will always be there to prove us right.

This fight is getting beyond embarrassing for your fandom so I think it would be smart to drop it before you start pulling out more facts out of your ass

lol this is a real meltdown..the only thing that I know is that when I will look the charts tomorrow I will see a top 10 position for never be the same.and #1 on radio.something that into you hadn't..and who cares about streams when you have success without them? only camila did that..

4 minutes ago, dangerous. said:

First of all, please use the space bar and commas, rather than excessively using "......."

Anyhow, there are several things wrong with your post. You can't choose to ignore streams or certifications when considering whether a song was a hit or not. YOU don't get to decide that. That was one of the most nonsensical statements I've seen in a while. Also, Camila's song is only doing well on Pop Radio. POP radio. Rap music hasn't killed pop music on pop radio. It isn't doing very well on iTunes, and is only going top 10 because of a remix that is now out of the top 50. Not to mention its Spotify performance which has been abysmal for the past month or so. No1curr about whether she has a #1 or not anyways, y'all can cling to that drag for dear life but in reality it's meaningless. The numbers behind the position matter, not the position itself. Lastly, trying to justify NBTS' clearly lackluster performance as "good for a slow song" is no different than trying to say Into You was a flop despite having over double the Spotify streams of, for example, NBTS.

Please, think deeply before you post. I get you want to defend your fave, and that's great, but at least use common sense.

hypocrisy when ariana fans said common sense

I was just pointing out how many songs peak high on album release, no need to have meltdowns.

For a top 10 "smash" those streaming numbers are awful. Take Let Me Go by Hailee Steinfeld, a song that peaked outside the top 10 on pop radio, and peaked at #40 on the hot 100. It has over 100M on youtube and almost 400M on spotify, while Camila doesn't even have 300M and her song is already out of the top 100.

Wasn't this song released 3 months before Never Be The Same? :rip: And it doesn't even have up to 100M streams on YouTube :rip:

9 minutes ago, Henstridge said:

Those streaming numbers are good for a top 30 song, not a top 10 from an artist that stans claim is a streaming giant

So Never Be The Same would be a "more impressive" hit if it peaked in the top 30 and not in toe top 30? Got it.

And when I look at spotify numbers for Into You, I see 517M streams and a 3x platinum song, something NBTS will never have.......who cares about radio when you have success without it? only ariana did that

when I look the hot 100 position of into you who failed to reach top 10.the radio flop updates I know that ariana stans have low standards for hits.but even selena had bigger era with revival than the underperformance of dangerous woman

It has 2 MVs and that's not what I said

That's also not what I said

Again, not what I said

Oh it's all exactly what you said. And there is no debate to be had here. This is not a song getting into the top ten from out of nowhere based on some huge sales boost like the Superbowl, neither is it one of those songs that get in based on streams from suddenly going viral because of a meme. It's a song that has sold and streamed consistently well for weeks on end. You yourself have mentioned several of Ariana's hit songs here with no regard to whether they did better on sales or streaming or on radio at any particular point in time - because it doesn't matter. Again, there's no debate to be had here. The end.

great updates for NTLTC and Delicate :clap3:

and make room for other rising/new songs instead of spinning the same **** in the top 10 for SO long imo :rip:
